This girl started training today, she says she’s gonna be a black belt! LOL
I think it’s a good time to experiment with this female, the topping didn’t work, she had to heal and go on but, now it continues to grow vigorously and i dunno how long to keep it in veg, i don’t want it going more than 5 feet by harvest…
You FIM’d and missed, I take it? If you straight-top (cutting the stem), you’ll very much put an end to the single dominant stem. That said, bending the main stem down should also encourage branching.
So long as you’re willing to train during veg, vertical height can be managed. You’re also not going to end up with a 5-foot plant unless you give it a pot large enough for a 5-foot plant The plant may double in height after switching to 12/12, but rarely go beyond that, and the (vertical) stretch is usually much less than that for topped/trained plants. I’ve been trying to keep mine below 18" or so in veg, and don’t think I’ve exceeded a height of 30" in flower with my current setup.
Since yesterday this girl is sad and the other two of the same strain are doing just fine, i know it’s not overwatering because she has gotten exactly the same amount of water as the other two, i have no idea why she is like this…?
Any suggestions…
These are the two Blue Tooth left, out of the 5 i potted, the other three were scrawny and puny, i got no time for that, they were culled. But these two make up for the other three… Right!? Not bad for three weeks old…
PS.: They were sprayed with milk to stop the PM from spreading, so what you see in the plants it´s milk (3.5% Fat), not PM… LAB is in the works as we speak.
I LOVE COBS, internodal distance is minimum, and even tho there is heat, it´s totally manageable, i owe that to you @lotus710, thanks so much bro.
And these two are White Widows Auto from DP, they show a lot of vigour and the whorled one fixed it-self after the third set of leaves, all on its own. Super bushy and later on i will take a picture of its branches, they are strong with thick stems and well here they are gang! Without you this would never be possible.
All the other plants are thriving, and this one looks like that since i moved it under the Vero @ 300W, it was under the Citizen @ 100W, so it’s probably adapting. I hope it bounces back, the other two Sour Diesel are doing really good too.
I’m getting there bro, apparently on the light regimen i got going, the maximum should be around 340 umol/s because of the 18/6 schedule.
EDIT, maybe i am confused, but if i was using a HPS i wouldn’t have to study all this BS in order just to find out if i am intoxicating my plants with excess light… LOL Unlikely tho, all the rest are specially happy!
I might have to get rid of it, it it doesn’t bounce back in 48 hours, it’s gone!
This is the White Widow Auto that wasn’t doing good in the tent, took it outside and now it’s saying thanks. But the other two WW are running in the tent no problem whatsoever… Funny! That’s nature.
I have been reading all that info this morning. Thanks man, i think i know how to go about it now, will still need charts and all to interpret the readings but well on my way!
I can’t let them go that big. That’s why i am starting them under 12/12 to see if that reduces the size a little bit, but i know i will have to tie them down eventually… Oh my God… My neighbors, HAHAHAHAHAHA!
