Totally understandable about wanting to stop the selling, but if we get a lot it would be great if packs could be slightly bigger to allow proper pheno hunts of the f2 generation. 10 seeds for a pheno hunt of f2s may not be enough to find that something special that these hold. I’d like to run at least 20 of the f2s to get a good feel of these since the f2 generation will add more phenos to the mix.
People won’t be running to ig with 10 extra seeds to sell and it will allow us those few extra to get something amazing.
@Chronickyle i agree with you 100%, that exact train of thought crossed my mind earlier a few times. Either way I hope to find a keeper, the more beans the better the odds…
Exactly. I don’t see many people doing pheno hunts of just 10 seeds and expecting to find gold. Not like we need a hundred seeds either but a few extra helps.
I’ll consult with Reynard. But they’re both heavily worked IBL strains. So there may be some slight genetic diversity, but there should not be very much variation really. It’s more like a BX between two heavily worked IBL strains, than an actual f2.
Yeah I have a nice plant count and even then gonna be increasing it come renewal time this year. Always hunting and have no problem dropping 15-20 beans for a good hunt, really looking forward to these ones.
i say we go straight to Rez and just ask him for a ton of the sour d. If y’all are afraid or hesitant I understand but I know I’m not afraid to make it happen!

Well as I see it my half in this isnt/wasn’t for sale I just came in to make it happen.
And it actually never started off as a club run and still isn’t.
Just made it possible for folks on here to get some true SD genetics.
Now others here seem to express their ideas but ya know it’s not their gear and actually no say and it wasn’t them with the initial payout on these beans.
See that’s the problem these days we in general not only the club but everyone everywhere seems to think they need catered too or try to dictate their own agenda.
That’s the new world new world thought process and ya know I haven’t stepped into the 21st yet except on a trolling motor that’s really pissing me off.

Well said @OleReynard, no one but a gun to our heads to sign up for this and I personally am just grateful for the following:
1: that @DannyTerpintine thought to do this,
2: that you (@OleReynard) are willing to put your skills to this,
3: that I got a chance to both help someone out in need with their family
4: that I get a chance to both grow and experience these SD genetics.
Both are ibl so shouldn’t be that much variance if they knew what they were doing meaning Rez.
Shouldn’t need a bunch to run thru I could see it if they weren’t but these are not s1’s.
More than likely not true ibls with some added xtra genetics from bx’s.
It’ll be interesting since we’re going back to beginnings with a bx added in so maybe there’s gonna be some diversity.
Maybe would’ve been better off just running straight bx of Danny’s.

I’d just say to trust that gut olerey and do what you think is gonna bring the best results at the end of the day. All those years of experience I’m sure you gut knows a good thing or 2 more than most of us.
20 should give a much better representation of the strain at large to all of us to find something special.
