Thank you for doing this @DannyTerpintine. This is a good opportunity for for OGers that want these genetics to try, that they couldn’t normally afford. I know most days I couldn’t drop that cash on beans where 35 is very reasonable.

I can surely respect that position. And I do see how it could have appeared that way.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and beliefs. And I believe even if we have a difference in opinions, we should be able to step into each others shoes and at least understand each other and have a conversion without name calling and argument. We don’t have to agree with one another, but at least be congenial with each other. If anyone knows me in person, I don’t like to fight and I stay away from drama.
With that said, this is a great community and I value reputation above all. That’s the main reason I wanted to be as Clear as possible.
If I sold this pack I know for a fact I could have got at least 1000. I took 650 (which I’m giving to my grandparents). But let’s pretend I kept it - that’s 650. Shipping will more than likely be coming out of my pocket at 100+. (I don’t want to ask everyone to give me 5 for shipping because organizing and tracking that isn’t exactly easy work.) So at the end of the day I got 500 for a pack worth 1000, which means I put 500 into this run as well.
Now I’m not saying you (you’ve actually been quite understanding), or any one single person, but to anyone that may have that though in the back of their mind - I do not believe that’s selling my cake and eating it too. I essentially put the same amount into this as everyone else as a whole. (Not included Reynard, who’s d-lo carrying a lot of weight here! #Noted #BigRespectToHim)
As far as the seeds go… I don’t know. Until they’re done and here I really honestly do not know what will happen. They can not be given for free as that’s not fair to anyone who paid for them. So that leaves more server runs. (Clearly there’s people who wanted in but did not get in this sign-up). That or we pull a crypto move and erase them from existence (to maintain rarity for those who actually got in) …although that does NOT seem like a good idea at all either. So yeah probably more server runs. But I really don’t want to stress over something that hasn’t happened yet or won’t happen until next year?

Not that it matter since there really doesn’t seem to be a true standard procedure, but In the past paid runs, wasn’t the entire batch of seed divided up evenly (by weight) to everyone that contributed, with any difference going to the grower. Everyone involved gets more seeds. Then they could do what they want with their bag of seeds, usually lots of trades follow lol.

Bro, respect to you. You’re doing a great service along with @OleReynard and no one has a gun to their head as participants. Your original buy prices were “high” by some standards and imo that rubbed some wrong. Imo that’s bs. I hate getting involved in internet bs because it’s not real to me. These are just supportive words to you and your efforts and not shots at anyone else

I was considering that initially. But I talked with the grower and we decided it would not be the best option to do that.

Yea, after posting that, I then remembered that there was also ensuing drama of so and so selling said seeds since he had so many.

pretty much what I was informed - which is why I agree’d it wouldn’t be the best idea. Especially when a pack goes for as much as it does.
