yes, this detail annoys me a little, the plant itself starved a little, but I prefer to remove it like this than to remove it before and lose the best it can give next time it will have a better space and I hope to correct this detail

I can play this game, I have a Cap Junky x Sour Diesel cross going now. They are still in the veg/training mode. One is going to be a beast. It was the tallest bay far and turned out to be female.

Looks like some kind of SD cross, especially looking at the flowering pics.
The buds on yours bubble out, where as SD is more uniform and spear shaped. And the color is off

I can definitely see SD in there, just, I also see something else, maybe a bubba cross.

Sour diesel grown from seed is not going to look or smoke just like the original clone only version. There will always be variation when growing from seed whether it’s small or large no two are created identical in cannabis.
Also to have a ibl of sour diesal would involve a outcross in the beginning adding a whole new mix of genetic possibilities.

So looks like Katsu used Stoney(ICMag)'s SD IBL male, which he popped from Rezdog’s 2008 SD IBL.
Pretty sure Rez used AJ’s Sour and a random Affy…lemme check

Ah, ok, so Rez used Soma’s NYCD male.
That makes sense with the colors and bulbous nugs you have.
I worked with Soma’s line in Lake County, CA and its amazing. A couple plants were lower potency, but the better ones added various fruit flavors to the Diesel. I also saw some similarities with Hawaiian I was breeding. I pollinated some branches of each of the Diesels with the Hawaiian, but my partner ripped those plants while I was in town.
