Sour Diesel Thread

I ran Bodhi’s Grandma’s Hashplant as a tester before it was released. It is Irene OG x 88g13hp.
Now I have slowly been working my way through the “sour” realms of Cannabis and though I have not been able to source legit cuts. I have been able to go thru lots of “high end” beans from many of the respected sour breeders. I have found some awesome plants in the Karma selections but to be honest , when I start cracking jars to smell the various strains in my stash, the one flower that hits the nose with a true sour diesel fuel note is that expression from the grandma’s hashplant. It’s in the flavor when smoking the joint too.
Now I drive a dodge ram 1st gen cummins diesel and I know that diesel fuel smell real well.
I’m finding lots of awesome plants in the “sour” realm of my seed stash but that Irene x 88g13hp simply nailed it in the smell and flavor department if we are talking true diesel fuel terps.
I held that cut for a few years, trying my damdest to get it into as many hands as I could but to no avail… everyone is chasing cookies and kush still LOL So I let that cut go after I secured a fresh pack of those grandma’s hashplant. Hope I find an equally sour female in those again

The Irene OG cut is really nice. I have had plans to make S1s for quite some time now. I hope to get around to it sooner than later. Positive vibes…

Could you be more specific? I’ve seen this one going around lately and don’t know much about it. When I tried searching I didn’t come up with much, but maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough.

When you do that S1 of the Irene I’ll be first in line waiting for that drop LOL
I smoked some legit Irene some years ago but have never managed to source out a cut up here in Canuckistan. The main reason i chose that bodhi cross when they were on the tester list was due to the irene being used.

I am not sure if you are asking for just general information on the cut, but if so, this thread is really informative:

Positive vibes…

As long as I get a nice seed crop, feel free to hit me up if you see me talking about successfully reversing her for S1s. Wish me luck haha. Positive vibes…

According to Aj the Albany cut and the aj are the same. the ecsd name came about after Rez got involved.

I think AJ may be wrong. They are different cuts. The AJ is more commercially viable, bigger buds, etc. The Albany is more head stash grade, less yield, etc. I am getting this from the person I got the Albany from and their crew’s experience. I haven’t tried the AJ myself but they have run both.

I’d send you one to try, alongside a cut of the amazing Tahoe OG I have too, but I know you don’t take cuts.

It seems there will always be disagreement amongst those involved with the chems , diesal and og lines.
I won’t be flowering this aj out till the spring so it will be a minute before I can compare to the ecsd cut that was so popular early 2000 era.

Def sounds killer! I need to get some of that flavor. Did you find her out of a pack or did you do a big hunt?
