Wow! I’ve never seen that before. He’s so smooth thought. I think he must have spent a lot of time practicing tricks for transitioning between his glove and hand faster. I watch a lot of ball players fumbling balls they’re trying to get out of their gloves and it takes a split second longer and they miss the double plays. Plus he could throw from spins, jumping over runners, across the diamond and always ALWAYS nail the target.
And of course, one of the things he’s most known for is his ability to cleanly field the ball barehanded straight into a throw. Impressive stuff.
