Question for the OG’ers as I’m sure someone here can relate.
Have you ever been so into a strain you had in the past, that you did everything you could to track it down and did it with success? Then you thought, "man I will have this cut till I die!!!
Fast forward a few years after you have ran it many times successfully, and now that strain you once loved so much and thought you would never get rid of just doesn’t excite you anymore…
As a result you end up getting rid it only to crave again and restart the search again years later??
I grew it ages ago and 25 years later found a stash of nirvana California orange bud seeds I’d hidden away. I was excited to grow them out, and I did, and it was excellent. High school weed.
But: you can’t relive the past. Super plants, nostalgia not so much.
I’d grow them again though, and I made seeds so I can
I’m waiting for a uw cut of hashplant to get back in rotation. Real cut from the uw. I grew it hard for years. Lost it. Never to be seen again. People have offered it in seed form. But its not the same as the clone only. That stuff is my unicorn.
Bought way too much of a strain called “Sour Cheese” back in prohibition when I wasn’t growing.
At first it was so cool… a nice change of pace and a truly unique smell/flavor.
The novelty of the taste via vaporization eventually wore off.
Something about the sour parmesan flavor had me dreading finishing it up.
i had a strain called “freebird” from dominion. it’s a great strain with an energizing high that still is very stoney.
it’s got that strong sharp citrus mixed with a rubbery tennis ball kind of taste…loved it back in the day but have had so much of it that I’m having a hard finishing it up.
We used to get something similar stinky cheese feet cheeto Smelling bud. It was exodus cheese. My overall favorite. That offensive fake Parm cheese smell and that gnarly ass taste that went with it, holy shit batman. I need that back in my life.
I lost my first one about 18 months ago. But still had 10 seeds left. They weren’t stored in the fridge but still ended up getting one of 4 to sprout and grow. The rest grew tails and died off. Thank gosh the one was a female. Grows taller but still amazing smoke. Have another 6 seeds to go through one day.
huge believer in t-breaks, even as someone who uses it for strong medi purposes. everyones elasticity of tolerance is probably difference, for me the curve is sharp and t-breaks are needed every 30 days, 60 max.
I just came across a new strain. Blow your mind and your taste buds.
Peanut Butter Apricot. Feels like a super haze on crack. Longevity is longest I’ve ever felt. Intense but not overwhelming. Smooth.
I’ve been taking 100 MG edibles every day four 3 months now. I’m down to smoking herb maybe a king cone twice a day. Edibles and dabs are where it’s at. I also take a shot of brown dragon every other day. Most of the time I’m blasted off. For my medical needs its necessary. Other wise like I said before, I’m constantly smoking flower. My lungs can’t take it!!!

well sorta That takes 3 years in my grow, then it’s time to move on. The weed is still good but my tolerance for it is kaput and time doesn’t seem to change that. ymmv
