I’ve been saying the same thing. They banned me for just trying to GIVE AWAY seeds I made. I thought that’s how I get verified since I don’t know people on strainly. Especially ones charging $500-$1000 a cut. I’d love to meet them in person though and give them my 2 cents. I asked people to trade to get verified and I’m just nice and want to send extra seeds. Guess Strainly didn’t like that when they read my messages. So weird. From my experience Strainly isn’t legit AT ALL. I bought a clone one time on there…it was suppose to be XJ-13. It was fake as hell. I’ve been smoking since 1996 and i know xj13 when I see it @Strainly

That would all be based on the user/dealer your doing business with, strainly is a platform and you need to find out who to do business with. I haven’t used it, just browsed it. I know I’ll be placing orders through Mark, but I’ll deal with him directly and not through strainly’s order platform.

Putting my two pennies on the table…I’ve dealt with Strainly.io for nearly 3 years. I’ve interacted with at least 10 Breeder/Sellers. ALL were positive!!! Do stay safe/be well.

At the request of many customers we took the Freakshow from shapeshifter to an F9
I find it amazing that a strain that had a debut release in December of 2019 could be taken to an F9 by June of 2020, which is when they started advertising that they were selling F9 seeds on strainly. It took Shapeshifter 40+ years to get it to an F4. I know that some people here have said that that 7 east genetics are a good breeder to deal with, but I find these claims to be incredibly suspect. Seven months isnt enough time to even get in 2 crops, let alone do the careful breeding that is necessary to take a plant from F4 to F9.
Also, his price of $4.50 per seed is the exact same price that Humboldt is charging @ $90 for a 20 pack of seeds. I understand it is out of stock in many other places, but this seems to be pretty crappy also.
I know it is a buyer beware world out there but I think that if Strainly is going to survive they need to do a better job of policing questionable people like this, who make ridiculous claims, and obviously does a lot of business through their site judging by the feedback.

I am not sure about their F9 claim, however I have dealt with 7 East. They worked with me to help me get my seeds. What I got from them had a 100% germination rate and is growing well. Their freebie to me was equal to what I spent on other seeds in Freakshow seeds. As to how the Freakshow grows, I will find out in the future, but I have had a lot worse dealings on Strainly and seen at lot worse sellers then them. Just an opinion from someone who has dealt with them.

I wish I could get them to allow me to post again. I was listing Ethos seeds that came in the multi pass and they removed literally everything I had up, took away my privilege to post and said I was selling open packs and they don’t allow it anymore. I did sell some open packs of the loser copycat genetics to get rid of that trash stock but I listed them as open pack. Long story short I said I’m ok with it but what about the Ethos beans because multi pass packs don’t come in sealed Mylar packaging. Never got a reply, never reinstated to post, nothing. Emailed them apologizing said I’d just like to continue working since I have over 20 entries of feedback and 100% positive and still nothing. Been like 2 weeks.
Kinda fucked because I like the site… Not sure what happened.

Thanks, I hadn’t dug that far into those, saved me from both getting something I would have been unhappy with to something that pissed me off because I would have realized this on the end of it all. That’s going to be one I chase it seems. Once my grow was established I was headed directly for those.

Well, I just found out the true colors of strainly. I gave negative feedback to a seller for a deal gone very bad, and when I just went to check out the site I received a message saying that access to the site has been denied and my account has been disabled.
I connected through a VPN and see that my feedback was removed and the seller is still showing 100% positive feedback.
The feedback system on strainly is worthless if they won’t allow negative comments. There goes all peer review or accountability. As long as strainly gets their payola they will continue to let hucksters take advantage of the clueless public.
Too bad they didn’t just close up shop as planned before, because this is complete crap.

I honestly never really knew the place existed until I joined here and learned about Mark and he’s literally the only person I’ve ever dealt with there. The site always seemed suspect to me and hearing @monkeyman experience just further solidified that for me.
Not saying all sellers or even most there were bad, just that the site seemed to offer almost no protections for the buyer besides bad feedback options and apparently they won’t even let you do that either.

Strainly is a good idea and platform. While I do agree they are a good tool for breeders and consumers I think they should make it easier for folks to pay for membership. Currently they use a crypto currency payment option this is due to financial institutions not doing business with canna companies. I would like to see a cash payment option.
We have listings there, only had one bad transaction but we were purchasing and the seed weren’t viable. Other than that I can say most there are reliable and the site is genuine.
They have our full support on moving forward.
