Its not the same lavender bodhi used in his wookie. Bodhi used bigbuddys lavender.

Have you tried both? If so are they crazy different?

Im pretty damn sure the soma lavender is completely different lineage. If im not mistaken soma said his lavender was a blue hue pheno of a old skunk line. Im not sure what the lineage of bigbuddys is but i heard its totally different lineage. Never tried either to be honest. Only bodhis wookie 15 crosses.

I also ran a bodhi 7 cross which was a wookie female cross from bodhi. It was terpy as all hell and low yielding. Great smoke.

Sounds typical, lines being completely different and worked im sure differently. I can’t wait to grow it. It’s on the work list,. But I have testers left and right…

Having not tried either I wouldn’t know the difference personally

I always love it when you end up getting some great smoke from the low yielding plants. Makes it almost worth the time lol

I’ve had lavender bud, but it was called that because of either the initial whiff you got of it or the taste from it. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Yep those are all the same lavender the ones you got and the ones from the group buy. I sold a few packs to cover the electric bill and have been giving some out here and there from my portion. There all realy exotic plants that def smell like lavender and taste like lavender hash. They were open pollinated so you should get a good amount of variation but so far they all carry the smell of lavender, I just crossed DJs grape crush to the lavender , bubba kush and ice cream cake. If testing goes well the ice cream cake cross will be available but the other two need to be worked more by me to achieve what I want to see from them.

I agree. I don’t know if lavender smells like soap or I think that lavender smells like soap because that’s all I’ve ever smelled it in but I really don’t like it either.

I bought some essential oil with a big order I made years ago because I heard it was relaxing and it made my room smell like the nastiest soap I was on the verge of gagging :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s like a sharp/rotten floral/lemon/soapy smell to my brain,

I usually avoid strains that are too expensive (100+ usd to my eyes) and try my best not to support breeders who are shady/unprofessional even if I really want some of their gear. I’m also not too interested in autos as some people have already mentioned. I know they have made vast improvements over the years but I just have no interest in a plant I can’t veg to the size I want.

You ever had the violet mints? I know they’re supposed to be violet but they have a very lavender taste to them Amazon.com

Somewhere between them and what lavender smells like. It’s definitely a bit floral but in a unique way. I don’t know why anyone would get upset by you saying floral.

Poor baby  cute though

Man you hate on HSO hard.

I have a mint chocolate OG from them in flower and its turning out fire.

Grew blue fire from them and the lemon taste was out if this world good.

Grew gorilla breath and that was super frosty and dank smelling

I have a green crack strain from them that ive kept and ran a couple times.

Names a name and yeah its not cool they are copying names. Im not big on names. Im big on good weed.

These were all freebie seeds. So if 1 seed turns out good on 4 different strains then they must produce good seeds

Thats because hso is a bunch of imposters preying on new growers selling them unauthentic genetics.
