ya i have no idea what happened there.
humm maybe the mixers were to hold, i have had them in the frig for a long ass time.
very strange …

When I made mine I followed a video on making only enough to fill a small spray bottle but for the life of me I can’t find that video anymore to link it.
Id recommend using glass with no possibility of residual anything on it.
Tap water contains a lot of other metals so cleaning with that isnt advised. And im not sure if styrofoam interacts but id guess its a possibility.
And also you need to add the silver mixture into the sodium. One needs to be added into the other for some reason. Id just watch sebrings whole video and follow along.
If you just measure out correctly and use completely clean glass with completely clean distilled water it should work out perfectly.
Best of luck
maybe the styrofoam cups???
if you mix backwards it can do that, use a plastic spoon as well = not metal.
so A into B solution - should be clear… Stock Chems unused really should not go bad. I do not keep those in the fridge until mixed
yes A into B for-sure, the styro could be as well. i’ll try glass next time. not sure how to test the dist water i just bought a new gallon so ya.
humm ya i do remember while mixing a-silver it did turn a bit orange which i though was odd. so ya i think styro was my issue here.
i will try again later in glass containers only.
Don’t think you’re supposed to put it down the toilet. I know for sure that you definitely do not want to do it if you have a septic system. I’ve never had it turn brown. Are you using distilled water? Maybe it’s the Styrofoam like you were saying.
ya i think its the styro as well.
do glass next time.
well it was not the styro cups.
humm not sure whats wrong but this batch is wasted as well. not going to waste any more, just going to go with the other stuff. it burns my plants a bit but at least i fill safe using it.
damn damn …
U have 2 different sodiums, try the other one.
naw did not use those i had others i tried, they both did the same thing.
not sure whats going on here …
I had that kind of colour aswell, I had never used mineral water, and I recommend not to use it if possible,
Distilled water should be a most, some folks use H2O2 so they create a stronger bond, personally I don’t have experience and can’t try to do it right now.
Coming back to the colour, I realised that the pouring and steering speed tends to change the colour making the final stock cloudy or even black.
My experience (this was so many years ago): was pouring a slow but continuous pace, slow yet fast on a continuous string of water at the same time stirring on a fast motion clockwise with a non metallic stick ideally plastic or glass, the pouring and mixing process should be done both at the same time, never stop pouring neither steering, the pouring should last about 30secs , if it helps suck the A solution with a syringe, that helps to control the paste.
There are magnetic stirrers for cheap that makes this task easier.
On another note I had have better results with a stronger dilution than 9:1, 6:1 , 5:1 even 3:1 where my ways to go.
I hope this helps a bit,
Anything else let us know
just going back to the other stuff it burns my plants a bit but they grow out of it and they seem to reverse just fine.
have made many batches over the years and this is the first time i have ever seen this, and its happened back-to-back times so ya not going to waste any more mix untll i can get this figured out.
peace …
So I started spraying my plant a week ago.
Have been doing it everyday because I havent seen any burning.
Im still seeing female pre flowers which Im not surprised by.
But I plan to start flowering her today. When should I start seeing balls generally?
ok two mistakes right off the bat my friend.
ALWAYS flower same day you spray.
you should never need to spray more then 3 times, i usually only like to spray once but twice is common. ahh 3 times is a stretch and it can take up to a month before you see success not saying thats every time.
best to spray and put to flower your plant at least TWO weeks before your main grow and/or your target plant{s} go into flower. your trying to time things correctly here, having your fresh fem pollen in hand around the same time your breeding window is open. that for most ppl is under the 28 flowering day.
peace …
Standard times really… Should have balls everywhere 2-3 weeks into flower if it’s gonna work.
Right Im only flowering the reversal plant right now.
Ill put the rest in 1 week after.
But ive been told to spray for a week before flower also. Have I just been understanding wrong?
On the everyday spraying. Ive also heard of people doing this. Especially with hard to reverse plants. But Im sure there are some downsides to it. Is there such a thing as too much? Even if the plant is thriving just fine? Something about copper I remember hearing. But cant remember where I heard it from to go back and look.
@HolyAngel I wanted to Pm you again but ive already bugged you enough .
It really just depends on the plant.
Some only need the one or couple sprays and can get away with it on flip day.
More stable plants you need that extra time and/or sprays to get balls in any appreciable time.
If you’re just trying to get the plant to pollinate itself a bit and not others, likely wouldn’t need to spray as much either
Yeah Im really not worried about saving a few pennies on my spray. Id rather just make sure it works lol.
Anyones who’s successfully reversed with 1-2 sprays hats off to you. Id never be willing to test that out .
I usually trust my intuition and just followed it. Sprayed 5-6 outta these first 7 days. Hopefully its not too much. The plant looks perfectly fine. Once I get into flower Ill probably be slowing the frequency down. Just wanted to get her nice and loaded during this phase.
Im learning though well see.
