Big time… I flower beds in cycles so each bed runs about two weeks between themselves to make work more smoother. So 2 beds had been run and then all of one bed was lost… couple hundred plants 2 weeks in yeah. sucks… Managed to dig up and keep a couple Shiva Dream x Blues plants alive …

Holy crap, man. That’s disgusting. I bet they’ve barely ever built one before, and, your’s was no small greenhouse. You have to have your engineering right and although I’ve never erected a greenhouse, I can see from the few pics you put up that it’s missing a lot of structure. That seems like way too far to space the hoops, as you already know. If the hoop structures are too far apart the water will pool like it did. If the space is too wide, you’d never be able to get the plastic pulled tight enough to prevent puddling. And, I’m guessing that weather is somewhat normal for your area?
I built most of my life and I got sick of guys like that conning people out of their money. I got out of the business because those sort of guys will lie their ass off to get a job and always short cut it. Man, that’s too much stress for a grown man. I can’t imagine they would take on a job that large without knowing what they’re doing, but I saw it all of the time. I made lots of my money repairing bad contractors jobs. But, nobody wants to pay you by then. It became impossible for me to continue doing it.
So sorry to see that man. I would come unglued as well. Damn. I hope things turn around soon. That guy sounds like he has know clue how much money he cost you. Crap, I’m getting pissed now, heh. I bet those guys disappear on you eventually. Once they realize the scope of things.
