Yeah…there’s a difference between folks here who socialize primarily and those who’s priority is plants. Some do both. Some do them in different ways. I don’t think any are really ‘bad’ but some definitely detract from what I think the site is about. What I think really doesn’t matter ultimately though.
Weird to see people go after mini for sharing his lived experience lol but not my place.

I’ll have to grab shots but TS x SSDD #1 and #3 are spending a week outside until JTR comes down. So I guess they’ve started flower, technically. And I’m doing the terrible of taking plants outside then inside. I think I can handle it but if all hell breaks loose everyone’s free to tell me they told me so

Yeah, I’m with you on that. My opinion means nothing either. I think sharing is awesome and it’s a great way to make threads more interactive when it’s relevant to the topic.
Ya I think usually it boils down to a breakdown in communication due to the text based format here. People are free to ignore or dislike whoever they want, it’s none of my business and I don’t care anyways. My perspective is that mini is absolutely one of my favorite individuals on OG and this site benefits a lot from his activity. Glad to have him in this thread.

Not sure what this plant is - I think it’s LJ but it doesn’t really smell. Branching looks like LJ. Guess we’ll find out. It has no label so I’m thinking it’s one of the outdoor LJ cuttings that I didn’t give away.

Cool to hear… It’s crazy that people charge so much for things that should be given freely… the plant was meant to be shared that way, I think, at least. The green rush is beginning to make me a little sick, going hand-in-hand with whole legalization thing, it just seems the total opposite of what weed is really about.

100%. In the grower circles I was brought into during the prohibition era cuttings were always shared without money exchanging hands. It definitely made an impact on me back then and is something that’s always seemed worth continuing. I’ve noticed the new growers that are getting into the hobby seem to carry that culture forward if their early experiences with taking in clones is done that way too, rather than some parasite draining their wallet.
Legalization definitely has some downsides, that’s for sure. On the bright side of it I was also really thankful I could drive around today with 2 clones in plain view without any worry. Not having to hide it is huge as well. I don’t plan on stopping in a dispensary any time soon (or ever) though.

TS F2 impressions on 2-3 uses so far is that it’s pretty strong. Stronger than TK (comparing it to last harvest) I’d say but I like the effects of the TK more. I think I like the effects of TS (F1) more too but it’s been a few months since I’ve sampled any and don’t like going off of memory like that.
Forgot to comment on how strong the TK x TS that I took outside smelled. The TS mom doesn’t really have strong vegetative odor like that but the TS-E male did. I think I may have spotted a male flower (intersex) on it the other day but it may be a result of being placed outside under a different lighting schedule, and it is in an area that gets constant light pollution. Worth noting and I’ll have to watch the one in the tent if I confirm it on the outside one later.
Been thinking about what seeds I want to pop for early fall and I definitely decided I want to take a break from any TK genetics just to change it up for one cycle. Late fall / Winter I’m hoping to explore some TS F2s and possibly some more csi stuff if any of the current run turns out worthwhile.
So far I’ve narrowed it down to these - May do a couple of each. Not sure, still in the brainstorm phase.

Interested to see what others think. Won’t change my mind but may influence me in a direction. Always possible I impulsively go with something else entirely.
Field Trip - I only have a partial pack left and I’ve been wanting to try this one for years. I know everyone despises cookies genetics but it’s one of the packs I have that I want to try the most. Almost certainly going to pop a few of these.
GG4 x SSDD - I grew one out before and it was decent. I’ve been wanting to revisit Space Monkey but don’t feel like going through F2s or buying more F1s and I already have this, so I added it to the list.
Sunshine Queen - I want to see some of the other phenos in this line, only saw one female last time.
SSDD - Kind of want to see what the other females are like in the pack just to get through it. I bought this pack with Triple Sunshine and it would feel like a waste not to go through it. Without the annoyance of making seeds it may be a fun choice.
Sun Ra - I really wish I had my cedar pheno still but I know how much phenotype variance there is in this line. I only saw that pheno once out of 3 packs that I went through. Seems unrealistic without popping a few more packs, so it’s not a high priority for me. Still a consideration though.
Edit : also have this csi stuff as possibilities, but most contain TK. SD x Obama Kush sounds a bit interesting to me though.

Will get some updated pictures of the field trip lady tonight when the lights turn on high levels of frost dense bud slight wizard hat shape but seeing a good bit of gsc influence on this pheno not overly smelly but my sinuses have been messed up for a few weeks now hoping it’s some good smoke looks like it will be a lower yielding plant but with its density I think it’s a bit misleading still got a few weeks to go no signs of intersex either which is nice for cookies stuff

I ran the sour d x Obama last run. It gave me very good yield, and was gassy from the one one seed. However , I unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to smoke it as I wasn’t happy with the dry in the blistering heat we had up here. I’ll revisit it again though.

Check out condensate pumps. They are made for collecting water and then pumping it away once a certain level has been reached inside the pumps res.

GG4 x SSDD should be fun to go through should I decide to go that route. I actually popped a vial of Tony Green GG4 RIL a few months ago and culled them due to spacial reasons. I have a vial of his Twin Pheno as well as GG4 x OMG still as well. Lots of options!
I really do appreciate the offer but I feel more free to screw stuff up or even just cull and abandon a project with my own seeds. Taking others seeds would just ruin the experience for me by injecting that self imposed stress, but it is an awesome gesture!
If I ever were to grow out Space Monkeys again I’d probably get a pack or 2 and just look for a pheno like my keeper again. Probably best to not look to the past though and just see what’s in the GG4 x SSDD.

Also wanted to thank you for the comment from earlier and use it as an excuse to point out that the pup always looks like that (mouth closed & stare) because she’s eagerly anticipating her reward ball. Usually she has a goofy smile but my full frame camera makes me get so far away that I can’t really get a shot of her unless I’m 10-15’ away.
My Dutch shepherd always looks annoyed or sad when I put her through that so that’s why I gravitate towards the pup as my practice model. All the pictures of her look so depressing to me haha. I can only ever get my DS happy with my phone, otherwise she either gets too close to me that I can’t get a shot off or looks miserable. Also I am not fully comfortable off-leashing her and so I don’t even risk it unless I’m really isolated. Easier to get a picture without a retractable leash getting in the way. Pup is completely solid off leash.
Hopping with joy aggressively at the puppy when I told her we’re going to play ball tonight.
