Did ya have a triple sunshine outside bud? Haven’t gone through the thread for a week or so, but let I saw you had one getting pretty big outdoors
Yeah, I have an outdoor Triple Sun (for now). Getting some leaf spots on both the TK and the TS outside. Not sure how bad the TS is as I haven’t even had enough time to water it. I’d have to get a ladder out to really look at the canopy. I quickly grabbed a few pictures when I was on my way out for the dogs nightly adventure. By the time we get home now it’s already too dark to see them.

Looks like septoria to me. It spreads like wildfire on the plant in my experience. The flowers get a nice size but just can’t finish correctly without the leaves. By the time you’re 6-7 weeks in the leaves are shriveled to hell. That’s a shame. I have it all over my outdoor plants as well.
Hope everything works out bud, the dog looks amazing as always though, he sure is a good boy
Thanks and ya if it doesn’t work out it’s OK by me. The indoor stuff is more than I need as is haha.
girl(s)!
Was my first thought, good to have it more-or-less confirmed. Thanks! Would you just suggest chopping then? I really don’t care either way - don’t need the flower.
Girls!! Haha sorry
beautiful ladies, they always look so happy
It’s pretty crazy how similar the flowers on the straight TK and the flowers on the first Triple Sunshine look, at least as far as the actual “shape” is concerned. They look like triangles! haha. Flower morphology’s pretty similar, too, though. At least from what I can see in the pics.
Yeah, that one looks good. I think the 5150 etc #1 looks pretty promising, too. I like the way she looks all nug-y and calyx-y and shit.
I didn’t realize they were both girls, I don’t think. And they get along well? I’ve heard (from my girlfriend haha) that having two girl dogs can sometimes lead to, uh, volatile situations, moreso than if you had two boy dogs. But maybe that’s just a Boxer thing.
Yeah, both girls. They get along extremely well. I know conventional wisdom says it’s better to mix genders but for my Dutch Shepherd that isn’t the case at all.
My Dutch is a rescue and she has kind of a sad backstory but long story short she was in a home with her owner and a boyfriend moved in with a pitbull. My dog got in a fight with the pitbull and the people ended up locking her (dutch) in a shed for a month in the middle of an extreme winter. Eventually the neighbors got sick of the crying / barking and called rescue groups. They were giving her only a cup of food a day and she was seriously underweight when I got her. It was noted that she could never be in a home with another dog and this rescue group refused to sign off on looking at other shepherd rescues to take in.
Since I got her she’s always had extreme dog reactivity but I’ve slowly worked on it and got her to be able to function around other dogs. After a while I noticed she seemed to get along with females much better than males and really liked being able to have another dog around to herd / boss around. Another rescue was out of the question so I went the puppy route and gravitated towards a submissive chilled out female puppy, which isn’t what I’d go for if looking for a single dog. I didn’t want a dominant male that would challenge her. In this situation it was a very good match thankfully. Put in a lot of extra work on the socialization side of things with her because I didn’t want to have to deal with any fear reactivity or anything like that, since a lot of shepherds can be liabilities.
My GSD actually likes being yelled at and bossed around by my Dutch so it all works out great. They’ve never gone too far in their playfighting or when tugging or anything like that. Very happy with this situation.

More grown up
Gawd, fucking people… I dunno how it is there, but out here they’ll actually charge someone criminally if they subject their pets to shit like that. I hope something really awful happened to those people, though, whether it be legally or otherwise. I mean, how do you even sleep at night if you’ve got a dog outside who’s crying and barking in a shed? And I don’t mean figuratively; I mean literally: how do you sleep at night with a crying dog? When we had the little boxer puppy, that shit would keep me up all night.
And we weren’t even abusing her…
Anyway, that’s cool. I wonder how things’ll progress as they get older.
Yeah it’s really puzzling. Takes a certain kind of lowlife to get into that position. Also the whole “We’re only going to give her a cup of food a day so we don’t have to let her out as often”.
There are animal cruelty laws here too and that’s what the rescuer was armed with in order to get these people to give her up (not that they put up a big fight). I try not to think too much about it because she has a great life now, but it’s pretty relevant information when discussing her personality / issues / compatibility with other dogs. No virtue signaling going on here - I didn’t do anything but get my favorite dog I’ve ever interacted with for free. Pretty good deal on my end.
We’re on 2.5 years of them being together now without issue and judging by how tight they are I am confident there will never be any issues. Only real difference is the protective instincts. My dutch would fight a bear for her whereas the GSD would just run to a human and try to get the human to play with her while the dutch is getting mauled…
For sure. It’s definitely kind of good to know. We always wonder about our dogs. I mean, we have an idea, we know the situation, but nothing as specific as what you know about your pup.
I didn’t think you were haha. I mean, seriously, what? Somebody’s gonna be like,”Oh, you’re one of THOSE people? One of those people who thinks animals shouldn’t be tortured? You fucking virtue signaler…”
Yeahhhhhh, I only wondered because there was like a three year period where every four or five months, Bowie and Siouxsie would really snap and go at it (got a scar on my left arm from breaking them up one time haha). I think that that was when they were 4-7 or maybe 5-8, I can’t remember. They’d love all over each other all the time, but every now and then…
I’m sure it’ll be fine, though haha.
Some dogs are just lovers.
Things were bone dry and I made the judgement call when watering to just pull the 5150 2 and TK S1 3. Things were too crowded in there and it was annoying getting my 1/2 gallon watering can inbetween the stems. One of the TK plants without support was leaning pretty heavily so I had to remove plants to get in there and it seemed the best time to do just it.
Also wanted to document a 3 hour light leak last night in case any nanners pop up (probably won’t be an issue this late in flower).
5150 x TK #2 final shots
TK S1 #3 final shots
Neither smell that good but obviously they could have been grown a lot better. I kind of like the way the S1 #3 buds look but it’s not my favorite from the group either. Not running them again - we keep moving forward…

I feel like I’m forgetting something else that I wanted to post but maybe it will come to me later… Will try to get some trichome shots by tomorrow because I commented somewhere that I’ll show the FJ TK trichs @ day 60.
That just looks so darn good
Close but
sorry I should have clarified - we were discussing our cuts a few weeks back in IAY’s thread. Was just curious if this is how yours looks around day 60.
Oh, yeah that knobby af structure looks right to me, and trichs not being amber yet too. If you had ~20% or more amber’s already it’d be right out That was one thing the RB cut did that was noticeably different.
Always hard to say from looks alone. That RB cut appeared ~99% the same, but completely different stem rub. Definitely day ~63 finish time with a decent amount of ambers everywhere. With noticeably less potency, duration, and more indica type effects.
@syzygy
Man your photos and your plants are such a pleasure to watch. A simple like button-push isn’t enough to do your efforts justice. Thx for sharing
For sure, that’s why I included trich shots! Was just curious - not looking for absolute confirmation.
Thanks for the kind words, always nice to hear positive feedback on the pictures. Coco has been a breeze this round - very happy with how the plants turned out with minimal effort. Seems much more compatible with my small pot & low ceiling height grow style.
