And since that cross used her brother, I guess that makes sense. Hopefully you find it in the DLA6 since that does use the mom that bodhi and stray talked about.

For the SS and fruity and whatnot, I’m sure you had the real deal, ogre or otherwise. I get those fruity/tropical smells in my C5SensiStar. It’s just the really good sensistar phenos I’ve had, and what Paradise Seeds (the ones who found/made it) talk about, is that metallic type scent in there

Probably not exactly the effects I’m looking for but I still want to try it. I germinated seeds 2 or 3 times in the past and never got to see a female so I’m still determined to check it out.

Yeah I think it was probably accurate too. These people had an insane library of genetics for the time. Also nobody around me knew what SS was. Not sure if they do even now really. Growers? Maybe… But SS did not carry any weight in the consumer market at the time. I had to look up SS on the internet after receiving the cut as a “high times CC winner”. I know it was all pay to play and meaningless, but that’s how it came to me. Early 2000s here strain names weren’t as big of a deal as they became 10+ years later also.

Yeah, the Sensi Star that I’ve gotten a few times (dispensary) never smelled fruity to me, either. And the one hybrid I’ve grown of it, Bodhi’s Malawi Gold x SS, had zero “fruitiness” haha. Smelled like a York Peppermint Patty.

Gorilla Biscuit IX

That one sounds good. Of all the Chem things I’ve tried, I think Stardawg’s probably my favorite. I only got it a few times (dispensary again), but it didn’t have that sorta “crushing” come up that I associate with most Chem stuff. It also had a slightly “psychedelic” bent to it that I really liked.

Why’d the breeder call that hybrid Gorilla Biscuit, though? Makes it sound like it’s some kind of Gorilla Glue thing…

That one sounds good, too, even without the higherthought review. Anything “exotic” always sounds appealing to me and Iraq seems fairly exotic haha.

That’d be cool. We could compare and contrast to the Malawi Gold x Dragon Energy that I’m growing now, which, btw, are already the biggest and most vigorous of all of the stuff that I planted this round. I have a feeling they’re gonna get pretty huge, but that’s a good thing haha.

A friend gave them to me alongside some Laos seeds. They were both sourced from RealSeedCompany a few years ago at least. Not 100% if they are the seeds he ordered or a result of an open pollination - will try to remember to ask him next time I see him.

Ya that’s my understanding. Never done it either and don’t really know anything about that stuff haha. I have grown a few GB before but am interested in trying it again. My last tests were pretty leafy but there was one fairly frosty pheno. Don’t remember much about the effects - I was growing like 15 different things that run…

Yeah, I’m always puffing. I’m probably a decade overdue for a tolerance break. Aside from that I’m pretty vanilla these days. Herb every day and a neat bourbon or two on the weekend.

Yeah I felt the same way when searching seeds for this upcoming grow (field trip, gg4xssdd, ssdd). My problem is I have the most confidence in Bodhi’s SSDD male vs his other males that I have seeds of. I’ve scoured my list many times and I just always come up uninterested.

For example Grandma’s HP - after having grown Irene I just am not excited about the idea of growing her again crossed to 88g13hp. TK will have a lot of overlap with the OG stuff too.

The pollen chucks that I’ve made that I am most interested in are the TS crosses because of how high quality that line in general was.

Here’s an incomplete list of the seeds I know I have right now - I deleted all the empty packs and the packs I’ve given away from the list so it should be fairly accurate. Maybe something will stand out to you that didn’t to me - but really most of the genetics I sourced were very similar. I did discover that I still have my madre azul pack, which I was almost positive I gave away for some reason… I’m a bit jaded about the intersex issues I had the last time I grew it though.

The stuff I saw in the DocD thread looked really uninteresting and way different in morphology than I expected from what I remember. Will have to search some more… Not that interested in Bodhi’s Lemon Thai work either. I’d probably rather just grow some of those Laos seeds at this point, or order some thai seeds from ace and grow those.

Were yours true to the effects of what is written about Lemon Thai?

Yeah there was a bunch of trifoliates and stuff in Doc’s (Dutch Flowers) Lemon Thai F4/F5’s. Not really long flowering either if I remember right like 9ish weeks. Pretty sure it’s a hybrid and not pure Thai… but the effects I’ve read sound like they’re up my alley. “Clear mental surfing”, “very energetic”. I was interested enough to grab a pack of it that I do wanna look through at some point. I suspect it’s been used in a few things but unsure on anything to say at the moment.

If it was me, I’d run that Kush4 x SSDD before the other SSDD crosses on your list
That’s one I’ve been planning to look at too. Have F1’s and F2’s of it. Yet another line that’s possibly been used in some things in the past

Mobile w/ dogs excuse the crappy writing but I remember seeing more than one person with fasciation on their lt. I have grown k4 xssdd before - I think i was the first person to document a grow of it on the forums. Good bud but I’d rather try the baba kush F2s than more of those. I’m skeptical of dutch flowers in general and not really interested in any of their old offerings.
