Week 9

Final overview

See the bent over flimsy stalks, this is what I’m talking about…

Where do I begin ? So I said about 63 days, well seeds from pheno B fully matured at 61-62. I was able to harvest 19 seeds so far.

Pheno A is a different story, deformed, oval and weak shells. The seeds from A seem retardant to developing. I’ve decided more testing needs to be done, full dusting of a clone, which I’m triggering now to get started. I was going to self it, but now I need to see if it will produce the seeds alone. It’s disappointing the smaller plants didn’t take well. Even the CH reversal that was done on all the smaller sites, some of those (and that was fresh pollen) didn’t take either. (I’ve only found 2 there so far) It’s still producing anther tips, but they don’t open, just protrude from a few foxtail tips. I’m wondering if the intersex trait within the calyx is hindering development. The one thing I do like aside is the chunky glistening stacks it forms near the end. Has more of the neon green than purpling. The B has your standard leaf/calyx, but they are short baby leaves. Has golden crusted purple hues. Both have full flavor, however I think B is a bit more pronounced in notes. You know the flavor gassy/funky/menthol pine. Super expansive blow up style w relentless coughing fits

The potency is INTENSE at 60+. I almost prefer 50-55 days but needed 60-62 for seeds. Be careful, 65+ all the way to 70 will be really freaking strong and heavy. Yeah I can believe 25-30% so don’t underestimate what it will do. I can tell you I won’t be rolling 10-12 rollie blunts a day of this like the others. Besides being intense, will make you laugh your ass off at skits/scenes you thought were funny until it hurts to stop. It definitely narcotic like walking and talking. Someone will ask “are you high or drunk ?” And you say “Nah, I’m FUBAR’d”:scream::joy::crazy_face: Stays strong for 2+ hrs, although this intensity could be initially and level off later as adjustments happen. The only strain I can compare this level of intensity to is the G13, and w G13 it stayed strong. No tolerance build up there. Could be very complex and balanced w Xmas at an earlier harvest window.

Now along w that, the lateral stems do need thickening up. They’re too flimsy, yes staked can hold, but still the structure is thin to stand on their own. Of course the stretching needs node shortening. You can see how structural aspects need the most work here. I think it can come together w a plant that’s sturdy, thick and can hold the weight upright without supports. This is what I’ll be looking for, but yeah Crippy is nothing to sneer at in the least. It’s definitely super strain caliber. Probably better quality than G13, however I think it shares a similar road map in hybridization to offer balance and depth, which I’ve set my sights on doing now. Regardless of flaws, it’s a serious classic from the 90’s. How strong you want it depends what harvest window suits personal preference, And there’s still 2 more to do to see what’s there

So veg 2 weeks, maybe 3 and 56 flowering, about 70-77 days total for total cycle

900-1400 ppm, about 1/3 Cal-mag ratio

Seems to enjoy foliar up to the 6th week, before leaf tip and edges dying back occurs

Well that’s all for now, or is it…

Hi, remember me ? I was growing and this stupid grower triggered my sex and then expected me to re-grow. Well I made him wait a whole cycle before I could re-grow. Now I’m beautiful and ready to show how I bloom soon

Remember that one ? It’s next, while I start and veg the new seeds. No sense in wasting time. That way I can be half way done when ready to trigger sexing and flower… stay tuned

Whew I’m exhausted

Round 2 day 1

This plant is like a spider, the branching grows everywhere.

The smaller plant is A clone which I intend to dust the entire thing to see if it makes seeds. We’ll see if that was the grow situation or plant it’s self

Even the clone did the same thing. Both haven’t been topped/FIM’d. IF the stretching is better than the others, I’m definitely going to hit the pollen here

That last photo looks like Shorelines Crippy for sure. Lanky with the sharp leaves. Lot of stretch but still indicatype. Looks like the real deal man nice work.

@SkunkHunt101 Yeah I was going to comment on that. So there’s relation to Shoreline’s from what your seeing in the new one I’m about to do…now we have correlated lines to go by. So it can be identified. This allows for the imitators to be flushed out if they don’t line up. We may never truly know exact lineage, but we now can trace the plants characteristics. Skunkhunt proved this is possible having done his Shoreline before my Tampa Crippy XI Sunshine state results. Eventually we’ll have each breeder who’s verified and authenticated so any grower who does want it can get it without concerns.

Week 1

Here’s some dried nugs. These have the classic Crippy appearance. Much more amber than I like, so yes EARLIER for less drag

Taking tent up a level w side lighting

T8 8 bars 20w

I decided to do a side lighting test. I noticed many under nugs grew fatter cause I used the clip on for the seeds in the hydro grow. So now I want to see how much it helps on the back side and lower shaded parts, if the extra heat isn’t too much

This plant is doing much better. The stretch is right in line with what I want…you can see it’s more compact. If it stays that way for the next week, very good indicator. I’m staggering by 2 weeks, that way this plant will be nearly done when I move the new seed plants to be sexed

Waiting on 8 mo air pots and then I start 8 TC B x Xmas and 4 Pine tar Kush

These pots look insane for root development, even prunes them
