I found something possibly relevant…
Pre-Chemdawg hmmmmmm. At any rate I was leaning towards Pakistani lineage. And that may be as close as we get to knowing the make up
The prechem/ paki blue is the Tampa cut from sunshine seeds I’m not saying it’s originally from them but that’s where that one is stated

Close up of nodes
Well surprisingly there was little to no stretching hardly. The nodes on this one stayed compact. It should build the bud structure I want to see, which means I’ll be hitting pollen here on a few lowers. Really looks better than the other 2 as far as a tighter structure forming. I rotate 180 every day lights on so each side continues to get exposure. Temps can get a bit higher 86-87 during the later half, but I’m hoping the sides bulk up w extra lights. Foilar w bloom booster lights on and off. Anyway, this could be the surprise, was the one that revealed vics menthol odor, and I had to not once but twice replant it’s elongated stalk deeper in mix for better support base, and definitely didn’t grow fast. At first a problem plant, confused in an entire flowering cycle. It’s funny it re-vegged better than how it started, doing its own extensive branching without manipulation after. Goes to show not everything can be determined prima facie
See you next week
Happy 420 to all

Week 3
Not much to update. Increased ppm 1100. Other than getting fairly warm in the later light cycle due to an occupants sensitivity to air conditioning so it goes off for 2-3 hrs. I’m hoping it’s not enough time to be harmful. Has a slight wilt look, which confuses me when to water.
Thanks @BudBusterPro Im looking forward to my first app close to lights out. If I read everything correctly, it’s once a week app so it’s perfect schedule to use to begin a new week w. Per instructions, the only nutrient supplement I question is Botanicare Liquid Karma for previous foliar app w kelp content, other than that, I should be good to go. I’m really looking forward to seeing the difference it all makes
See ya next week

Great!
It looks like your plants are in flower!
I want to make sure we get you off to a good start. You may be limited in how many BBP applications we can get on this grow!
If you are further than 7 days into flower, you may wait for your next grow…Here it is for you:
3ml/8 oz water application at the flip
3ml/8 oz water 7 days post flip
2ml/8 oz water 14 days post flip (this is the final application in a grow!)
So if you can get a few applications on GREAT! Go for it…it can certainly do no harm!
As far as your previous Botanicare foliar, if it’s been7-10 days in the past…probably no issue.
Certainly advise you may use that on some control plants and next grow choose some BBP only treated plants and we’ll see your results…have any other questions let me know!!

Week 4
Looks like week 3 more than 4… Not sure this one is better. The buddlet clusters look smaller than my other 2. Remains to be seen how it finishes up.

Week 5
Well this is how I feel 🤷
To me this looks a week behind OR it’s very small buds trait wise. Has anyone had a plant/strain at 5 weeks be at pea and marble size ? I’m not talking due to environmental factors. Only genetics… How much bigger did it puff up for maturity and dry down to ? Well whatever size is well frosted now. I don’t know if something w yield traits could help here or not. However I’m calling a concern of high rate of hermaphroditism w Tampa Crippy…yeah this one has it too. Also I don’t know if it’s the selfed version or regular seed. I did get both. This was one seed after the runt I started so I tend to believe selfed.
I’m going to be very interested to see what you get @darkillusion in terms of bud sizes out of your seed. It’s only thought but I’m wondering what Big Bud could do. Does have a nice sweet menthol pine. TC pheno B is really the only true female though. I did hit the bottom parts w Xmas a few weeks ago, and just like the TC A this too just doesn’t show where it took. I found 1 swollen bract outside where I didn’t hit. Pollination is bizarre to say the least w TC. Even live pollen dabbed from a CH E reversal to TC A not every pistil took. I will say that reapplying 2-3 times seems to get something than assuming 1 took. Again, strange and resistant like. I suppose I can only hope for a better F1 hybrid that doesn’t carry over this resistance to fertility. Clearly not sterile since I have TC A x Xmas offspring growing now, just difficult. The plant decides which calyx to recede and swell, and even that tell tale isn’t visible w this one. I’m sure I’ll find seed in sporadic spots here too. At any rate had to find out what’s here while the seedlings grow big enough to move in to start their sexing and flip, so I don’t consider it a big loss, just disappointed at size

Well I will be finding out soon enough. Planning on starting my Crippy seed run next month. I am not expecting large buds from this strain. I always remembered this strain for small popcorn sized buds that hit like a mac truck.

Yeah, you may be right. I actually don’t remember seeing cola sizes. Nugs and popcorn sizes, maybe thumb. Buds weren’t huge in the bag, though I’d like to get it there if possible

This is why I believe that Kush genetics where added into this strain to help stabilize it.

Introducing…
Marble Crip
Why I call it that is because it will be a jar of white crystalline marbles trimmed and dried. Ive taken pictures to scale so you can see what I’m talking about. I’ve decided not to test and let it surprise me if it’s any better. I’m shooting for 50 to 55 days, mostly clear, some cloudy and few amber colored. Stopped foliar feeding from this point and flushing here on out.

Well, I didn’t expect this, but guess what… at 46 days it’s done. Done in as all pistil growth has stopped. So it’s maturing earlier than expected and even seeing amber heads. This particular plant would be overripe at the suggested 60-70 days, and before I forget to mention this plant is the S3 version of TC. I even see one of the new seedlings exhibiting same sativa traits as this one grew. So even though smaller, it’s quicker finishing time sorta makes up. A number of them could be a good yield. Of course its extremely coated so trim won’t be much to do. It’s kinda structured like the perfect nug plant…weird, eh ?
TC B x Xmas seedling that growing like this plant started as…

Week 7
And it’s done just as I thought. So 49 days total…Even though small, the coverage looks denser to me. We shall see if any pollinations on the lowers were successful
Final pics
Here is the A side by side. You can see A bud is bigger, but also leafier
Which would you choose ? Bigger but leafier OR smaller but heavy laden trichs ?
Now it’s time to get to trimming. I’ll take more after trimmed up
And here’s what’s next

PS I forgot, I checked Bruce description, and he made changes. You’re right. SFL OG was used to BX

Super interesting.
I always wondered about these, because I actually grew up smoking Crippie or Crip, Jacksonville FL, around 2006-2009ish it was 60 an 1/8th or 35 for a half-trac. Crippie was always absolutely COVERED in orange Hairs, we used to think that’s what got you high and one time I collected an entire zip lock of just the hairs hahah, didn’t ever grow it or anything but it was our top shelf.
It was either crippie or Reggie Miller back in those days.

Yes @Dr.VitaminGreen Anyone who grew up in FL during the 90’s is well familiar, however gained controversy over a hip hop name which made it difficult to determine if it’s actually a strain. Many decided to make the argument it’s just a name for high quality cannabis. However some including myself, weren’t convinced it’s just a name…Finally after so many years, it can be unequivocally concluded it is a strain. I was determined to solve this, so anyone can know the truth of it
