1 month flowering, one leg done.

Today I made the mistake of measuring the ph of rinsed water, I am using tap water, with above 8 ph, I usw ph down to 6 and the rinsed water comes at 4, any thoughts?

Your plants are looking a bit on the hungry side buddy!

That’s almost certainly pH related, have you been monitoring the pH of your substrate?

If you watering at ph 6 and your your runoff come out at 4 that means your substrate is well below 4!

I’ve been on a bumpy road trying to dial my shit again, and all because of pH swings.
My tap water is close to 7 so I ph down to 6 but my plants weren’t growing and looked hungry.

When I measured my runoff was in the low 4’s so my substrate should be in the 3’s. That’s far too low no wander they weren’t growing!

I solved the problem by flushing my pots with straight tap water, no pH down, untill my runoff came out came out above 5.8 and within 2 days my plants turned greener and started growing.

You’re so far into flowering now that growth isn’t a concern at this point, but getting your pH right might help them bulk up the buds in this last few weeks.

There frosting up nicely!

Good to know that but the thing is weird, the moment I checked ph it was on 4, the next day the color changed to a heatly 6.

Craazy!

Are you checking your pH with paper strips?

Nop, drops of reagent.

You’d get a more accurate reading with a pH meter, even one of those cheap ones you can order on Ali…
I’m telling you, for me that’s the one tool I can’t go without anymore!

I will spend this reagent til the end and meanwhile will get one.
I did flushed yesterday, but I think they are too advanced in flowering to show anything before harvest.

The ruderalis and the new runs will be different with ph correction from the begining and cal mag on the ruderalis because of the LED.

Mars Hydro TS1000 is an amazing light, buds frost a lot but with all-mix soil and my tap water plants lockout it is the 3rd time it happens. Under HPS the plants are healty green very vibrant.

LED lamps make foliage look paler than natural light and hps would make them look greener due to the warm colour spectrum.

True but my plants are struggling, it isn’t a spectrum problem, led plants are locking nutrients but in one week I will havest the criticals, the widdow is starting to yellow the leaves too so let them finnish…
Next run will be better.

So one Critical have been harveated, trics getting brown, one critical is remaining with a white widdow, and the critical will be gone in a few days.

The other critical was ready, the White widdow is behind, as was expectable.

And I have one ruderalis ready to come to the closet.

Both criticals under hps are maturing and are taking more time than the ones with led.
