Tents full of happiness and love ft. Bodhi and friends

That’s great to hear then!

I’m ready to have a spot to do the same man. I can’t wait to see how it goes for you.

Yeah dude, setting up your own grow is so much fun! Are you setting up a personal spot or commercial?

I threw these up over at RIU’s Useful Seeds thread, but figured I’d keep you guys updated here as well. The BLSR f4 is at about day 60ish, trying to get them to stop throwing pistils. Only running the 315w CMH in here now, raised as high as it can go. Have dropped feed levels and will probably just start giving them plain tap water as I’m just about outta nutes and don’t want to buy anymore. Hopefully they’ll finish up in the next 10-15 days. Noticing the the lower buds are more dense and and better looking than the tops, probably due to high heat and light intensity levels, but oh well… this tent is normally my drying tent, so not as well equipped to deal with the heat and definitely no more head room.

The plant in the right front is my favorite, even though it will most likely yield the least. When I rub my fingers on the buds/sugar leaves its like an oil slick at first, thick greasy resin that turns tacky on your fingers and smells like lime peels and diesel/oil rags. Looks like there is at least two different phenos, the buds on the front left plant are shaped slight different that the other plants, more rounded bracts… smells are similar throughout, but the front right plant is definitely the strongest.

Its just personal right now.

I really want a flower area at my house. Right now I can’t go to our area due to the above issue. My veg tent is busting at the seams, and needing up potting, badly.

Your plants are looking great, BTW.

That’s sounds tasty for sure.

Seems like a lot of people’s plants right now are throwing white pistils when we weren’t expecting them to. Maybe it’s the way the planets are aligned or something haha. I looked at the last two plants this morning before lights off and they still have a fairly decent amount of white. I’m turning the lights off tomorrow, regardless. Day 80. That’s it. You’re done haha.

We bought a Tesla last week, supposed to get here sometime around mid-May, I think. My girl’s super-stoked about it, but I don’t really care haha. She used to be, like, one of those “car people,” likes fast cars and modifying them and shit, like “Fast and Furious” haha! She did something to her Audi where other Audi drivers will pull up next to us and be like,”You did that blahblahblah modification? I’ve been wanting to do that, too! How much did it cost you?” I couldn’t care less haha. I don’t even know what it is she did to it; she’s explained it to me a few times, but my eyes just glaze over and I tune out. As long as the car runs, I’m cool with it.

I will never, ever utilize that self-driving shit, though. That weirds me out big-time. Pretty stoked about never having to use gas again, though.

LA traffic is static. It’s just there. You either accept it and the fact that an eight-mile trip is gonna take an hour if you’re driving during rush hour or you move. Or you sit in it and lose your shit, like I do haha. The traffic out here in the valley isn’t bad, actually, but the jobs suck, so I guess I’ll just have to commute or something. I dunno. Finding a job and going back to work is still a ways off for me.

Yeah, sometimes you just gotta pull the plug… I don’t know how people grow 14-16+ week sativa plants. Is the high really that much different after waiting all that time? I’ll probably just have to find out for myself someday…

Damn, ballin’ … haha! I’d be letting that thing drive me everywhere! I don’t really know much about cars either, was always more into guitars, music and weed, hah! As long as my trusty Honda starts, I’m good… just hope it doesn’t get stolen in Portland!

That part really is awesome! Are y’all having a special 240v outlet put in to charge it, or just using the regular 120v? EVs are the future for sure, hopefully they’ll become a little more affordable here in the near future.

Who needs a job  Grown’ herb is a job right?

I’m gonna be growing that Bandaid Haze and another longer-flowering Sativa in the fall. I expect some of those to be in the 14-16 week range for sure. That’s why I’m gonna try to grow more than a few at once, just because I don’t wanna have to be running the lights and everything for sixteen weeks for one or two plants. Hopefully find five or six females. I dunno how much differently they’ll smoke than the shorter-flowering stuff, but I definitely can tell a difference in something that takes eight weeks versus something that takes eleven. Usually. Even that Apollo 11, which is supposed to be a “Sativa” I found to be on the lazier side. 49 day finisher.

Why would it have a bigger chance of being stolen in Portland than anywhere else? I swear to you, Portland is not some kind of crime-infested hellhole haha. That’s just the media sensationalizing shit. Gotta keep people worried…

Uhhhh… You’re asking the wrong member of this household haha! I think she did buy that 240v outlet. Or something. She’s been messing with installing some outlet, even though we already had one for a Tesla that was here from the previous owner of the house. I really don’t know, man. I just gave her ten thousand bucks and said,”You deal with everything else.” haha.

Fuck no, man! It’s a pleasure and a privilege haha…

What is stopping ya?

Yeah, maybe you could squeeze some other plants or a clone or two in there with them so you’re not wasting the space/light.

None really. My car is one of the most stolen in the world, and had just been reading in the Portland subreddit about all the car thefts, haha. Hope I can find a place with a driveway, instead of street parking.

True dat! I’m sure there’s a few lurkers here that do grow weed full-time for a j-o-b… would that suck all the joy out of it after awhile?

I live in a rent house and we hesitate to ask permission. She has a “criminal activity” clause on our lease. When we moved in, she made sure to highlight that included “smoking pot”. I don’t want to bring any suspicion. A flowering area would be much more to move out quickly if we had to, with larger pots, sips, etc.

You could put the pots on wheels, seen plenty of people do that. And then, you know, skip the sips and JUST WATER YOUR PLANTS haha. I’m kidding, I’m kidding…

Yeah, there’ll be some other stuff going in there regardless of how many of the Bandaid Haze/yet-to-be-determined other long-flowering Sativa females I get. I have a plan. I always (sometimes) have a plan…

I’ve always been one to beg for forgiveness  But I completely understand… you gotta have a place to live.

I think @badger is going to try the City Pickers, I think they have wheels built it. Curious to see how they work out for him.

Finished up my Hash Stash and pressed all the dried hash out with hot water bottle in some turkey bags. I could have sifted the dried hash little better. I sampled the SSDD 73 and it definitely does the trick! :exploding_head:

Pura Vida and Black Triangle coming down this week …

PV F2 left and Black Triangle right - lights off, flash on.

They are set up, and the wheels are optional. I also added sight glasses to keep from overflowing in the tent. Ill post pics later, Im trying to switch phones right now.

Amazing job on those PV and BT. The PV F2 is going to be my next pop so I’m excited seeing such great results.

Smart man! So you’re opting to not use the wheels?

Awesome, it’ll be cool to see others experience with them. I’m really happy with this pheno, but glad I have a few more seeds to explore as well, as I’m going to give up everything in the move. After peeping @anon60559124 's Dank Sinatra F2s lately, I’m glad I have some more of those too, because they are looking really good. I’d say if you are going to pop the F2’s, run a good amount… there’s some good variety there

Looks like the Black Lime Reserve is finally getting there… today is day 71, tempted to go through the week, probably will take them down day 78-80. Buds looks nice, have been checking the big main colas for mold/botrytis, none found so far… I’ve got a fan below blowing up and one at the top blowing down, so airflow is pretty good, but always get nervous with giant colas like the two in the back. I’ll actually probably break those two big colas down for the drying process, just to be careful. Smells are strongest on the front two plants, a mix of sweet lime peels and oil rags/diesel. Haven’t seen any signs of seeds from my BT pollination, so not sure if the pollen was any good, maybe I’ll get surprised  Looking forward to trying some of meangene’s/Freeborn Selection’s other stuff after listening to his Potcast.

Last SSDD, Pura Vida F2, and Black Triangle came down :frowning: Hate to see 'em go, but love the way they make me feel. Ready to explore some new stuff from my collection too, just gotta be patient, ugh! Hope everyone has a great week!

Oh yeah, the mail just came too… tee shirt collection is getting bigger:) Really liked the design on this one. Great service from Doc D and Magic Spirit Seed Co!

Some really beautiful plants in this thread. What are your impressions of the Mars Hydro LED? Can you tell any differences compared to other LEDs you use, or have used?

Did you buy that Doc D t-shirt? Or did he send it to you with the seeds for free? I never got a t-shirt… sniffle…

Haha. Plants look good. I forgot you were growing those Pura Vida f2’s and the Black Triangle. I’ve mostly been obsessing over the Black Lime Reserve. I just planted some Black Triangle and Pura Vida f2’s myself, so looks like my grow report will be kind of redundant. Or something…

Totally jealous of those shirts

Thanks friend! Hmmm… Mars Hydro. Kinda mixed feelings. I have a TS1000 or TS600, forget which one it is… but that one is way more cheaply built than the SP250 that I have. The TS600 has a no-name cheap driver and I don’t really like the way the plug connecter is mounted on the board. Also I don’t like the dimmer setup (you have to have a screwdriver to move a pot directly in the driver), but they’ve changed that since I bought it. The SP250 has a meanwell driver, so that gives me a little more confidence. But to be honest, I find that my plants seem happier under my Timber Redwood 3500k Vero COB LEDs. I’m not sure it’s a spectrum thing, or what? I did pull almost a P from the SP250 from the last run with mono-cropping SSDD, so it will grow some herb. But I just brought down another clone of that same SSDD plant that was flowered under the Timber, and the buds were WAY bigger, twice the size in most cases, and less larf. Sooo yeah, I’d say there are better products out there than the Mars Hydro, especially given their reputation of not supporting their products and their ridiculous photoshopped ads. If you have any electrical and DIY skills, then definitely build your own LEDs, if not, then go with a reputable USA based company, Timber, Fluence, Gavita, etc.

I bought it, really liked the design. I really placed an order just for the shirt, but decided to grab some beans while I was at it. Can’t rep the co without growin’ the beans

Excited to see 'em! I really like checking out other people’s reports of the same genetics so I doubt it’ll be redundant at all  Plus, very cool to see how the differences in everyone’s environment will affect the outcome.

Probably gonna grab the F5’s when Useful releases them, I’ll give you a heads up if ya want.
