I hear you, I use my cellphone for whole tent shots and earlier growth. For some reason the site doesn’t squish the files as much. With my DSLR I start with an 8-9MB jpg. Export it to like 900kb and then when I upload it, it ends up as at 125 or 130kb and you can’t get a good look at the frost.

Another week, another update…
Lemon Party Fallen Soldier almost done - will take her 75 days and chop. I’m going to try something new to me. I’m going to chop the plant, de-leaf, and strip all the buds and freeze them in a vacuum sealed bag. Then I’m going to run all the fresh frozen buds to water hash, probably two or three different microns. Then I’m going to press the water hash into rosin at low temps, through filter bags… Sounds like quite the process and it is… hope I don’t fuck it up. The final product does end up pretty amazing if you can pull it off.
The Fishscale are both looking really healthy this week, nice growth and good internode spacing.
Vietnam Black’s are looking better, at least the new growth. Just starting to form buds and get some frost. I like the smell that is coming from them, but can’t describe it yet.
The DLA5 are looking much better and putting on good growth. Cleared out some of the branching and stuff underneath. GMO x Black Triangle and Blueberry x Silver Lotus seedlings looking good.
The SIP tent is truckin’ - the Casper OG still seems a little unhappy, not sure really what’s up. I tried top watering a bunch and all of it drained through to the res, so the medium is pretty saturated. I think I’m gonna let it try drying out a while before bottom watering that one. The other three I’ve been bottom watering this week, and they all sucked up the water in two days. The Agent Orange on the other hand is in the same soil, no-til SIP, and is just growin’ outta control. I’ve been hacking away at her, trying to keep her from invading the other quadrants, but apparently she’s a stretcher too, so I’m worried about timing the flip to keep everything in it’s place. I’ll probably just top her a whole bunch before the flip to keep her under control (hopefully).

Do we know how that Casper was bred/grown? Like, before you got it? I’ve read that hydro-bred plants don’t do as well in organic situations and vice versa. Maybe that’s what’s happening? I dunno, just a thought. I kinda like the way she looks, all spindly and shit haha.

I’m not 100% sure how they keep their mother plants at Archive’s nursery. From what I’ve seen on instagram it looks like 1000w/HPS mixed with CMH lights with salt nutes feeding most things. Can’t say for sure, but I doubt they’re organic when they’re pumping out the clones like they are. The clones themselves are in rock wool and then promix. What’s funny, is the last round I had a problem with the RudeBoi OG in that back corner, now’s it’s the Casper OG. I raised the lights little more… it’s only the new growth that curls on the tips, it might be a combination of issues, including light intensity. She is starting to look a little better… I think 
Yeah, it’s definitely all the rage haha. $250/g is an absolutely crazy price though. Even if you get the top of the top shelf here it’s about $80 gram, which is still way too much for me. Hopefully the Lemon Party will make good rosin, I feel like the citrus terps translate really well to flavor, if you can hold on to them.

Spring is finally here in the PNW. Thank goodness! Buds are forming everywhere and everything is greening up, I love this time of year. I had a great MDMA experience last weekend with my girl. Usually, I get kinda depressed after doing it, I feel like I blow my load of ‘fun juices’ and it’s hard for me to recover. But this time I was in pretty much an afterglow the whole time. Maybe it’s just the time and weather change that off set the negative effects. Maybe it’s because I didn’t drink for a few days before, or after the experience… I dunno, but I feel like I was due for a ‘reset’ and that did the trick 
We’ve been exploring Portland all week as my girl finally has a break from classes, and went to my first concert in like 2 or three years! Seeing live music again was really really nice! Bonobo tore it up!
Anyways… chopping the Lemon Party FS today, I had a pretty busy week and had to clear out stuff from the freezer (made a bunch of bubble hash) to make room to fit the vacuum bags, so I think today will be 76-77 days.
What else is goin’ on… oh yeah, the SIP 4x4 is fuckin’ rockin’ this week. Everything is getting a gallon or so of bottom water every day or every other day. The Casper OG turned around and adapted to her environment she’s growing fast now, the RubeBoi OG is doing much better than last time. Everything is happy. I installed the screen and flipped to flower earlier this week on the 21st. Topping the Agent Orange daily and still tucking, really trying to keep that one under control.
Here’s everything in the other 4x4, DLA5 S1s up front left. Fishscales on the right. Vietnam Black 164 S1 in back left. Casper OG clone peeping up in the middle.
If y’all haven’t tried the Giffin method of cloning, give it a shot. Was my first time trying and I got these roots in 15 days. I’m impressed. Even the hard to root Casper OG in the back is shooting them out now. Might not be the easiest method I’ve tried, but has definitely given me the best results.
BB x SL and GMO x BT looking a little rough after transplant. They’ll probably grow out of it.

Stunning pictures as always! Still trying to achieve such clear and well defined trichomes with my shots like in your 3rd pic. What kind of settings are you using in terms of aperture, shutter-speed and ISO? Making the background disappear like that seems really difficult in a mylar tent due to reflectivity, but I really love the effect it produces.

Thanks man! The trich shot in third pic was shot with a 90mm Macro lens, F-stop 5.6, Exposure time 1/30s. The macro lens has a narrow depth of field, so anything that your not focusing on tends to get blurred/fuzzy/fade away. I tend to use a black background (old curtain in this case) and use a flash, with light from other tents kind of illuminating the subject. Always try to use the lowest ISO possible to not add any unwanted noise.

Tent’s are all rocking…
I’m really like the bright and fruity smell coming from the Vietnam Blacks, though they look pretty scraggly. It’s got those Jack Herer/Durban kinda of brightness to them with some mango or fruity backside.
Not much smell coming from the Fishscales yet, just generic weed smell.
DLA5 S1 just starting to bud, they’re gonna stay squat obviously. Love their leaf shape though. Smelling good too, just the stem rub though.

You didn’t change the soil out on those between grows, right? Kinda like a no till thing? Probably why they’re drinking less, which is pretty cool.
