Tents full of happiness and love ft. Bodhi and friends

These ECSD x ECSD x Crippy are lookin’ pretty impressive for 52 days flowering. I usually never finish stuff that fast, but they’re looking plump and almost done. Maybe 60 days? 65? They did kinda flop over, and had to stake one of them. The other one broke a stem and I had to prop it up against the tent wall.

One smells more gassy, but both have this floor cleaner chemical smell to me. My girl smells citrus in there somewhere, but I don’t get any of that. She thinks the more chemical smelling one smells like trash. They’re both throwing late term nanners, but I’d almost expect that for fems these days. I hope they smoke as good as they look and smell. I’m pretty impressed for freebies. Thanks Shoreline…

DLA5 S1 are getting some interesting smells. The bigger one smells rich, deep, and complex… full of fermented fruit, burning rubber, chemical smells. The small one smells more minty and chemmy. I did find a few nanners on the underside of the lower flowers on the bigger one, but just letting ride. They’re also starting to purple up a little bit.

The SIP tent looks like a spaceship or something when I open it up, I always feel like the aliens are landing!

Casper OG stacking nicer than the RudeBoi OG - I am noticing a familiar sweet smell between the RubeBoi and Casper that must be from the Face Off OG, as zephyr mentioned. The Casper smells more like the Fishscales to me though, some chem or pinesol smell there. They still have a while to develop.

RudeBoi OG definitely doesn’t want to yield. I can see where zephyr is coming from with the poor structure and yields that may be passed from the FaceOff OG.

Key Lime Pie smells sickly sweet, like “I can’t believe this smell is able to be produced by a plant” sweet. There’s a key lime backend, with some anise back there too.

Agent Orange smells like sweet orange rinds, but not as strong as the KLP. I grew out Tangie once before, and getting similar smells, although the Agent Orange smells better. I also think she wanted more than I gave her this round, she looked hungry the whole time. I think I’m going to dump the boxes and amend them next round.

Vietnam Blacks are dying and drying in the pots, gonna see how that goes.

Y’all have a great weekend

Those smells are pretty much the same as I get on the mother while she’s in flower. And I got those finishing smells in the 2 other F2 I had.

Sorry that happened. I didn’t see any intersex in any round that I ran with the mother or her siblings.
Goes to show when you alter natures course you can bring up some ugly things from the past.

Even though it doesn’t look very much like any ECSD I’ve seen online, I like how “nug-y” that Shoreline cross looks. That was one of the things I noticed when I started researching those Shoreline ECSD lines (which was, unfortunately, after I’d already ordered a couple packs of the bx3), was just how “OG-ish” all of those lines look. Yours look pretty OG-ish, too. And real good!

It does! That’s funny. Reminds me of “Close Encounters…” when Richard Dreyfus’ truck stalls out and that UFO hovers over him for a little bit.

Gorgeous flowers you got there @iamyou_youareme !! Looks stinky in there :yum:

I have soooo much to catch up on!! Fantastic thread!!!
I’ll be continuing to bookmark

No worries at all, in fact it could be totally my fault. I’ve been moving plants around and light schedules in the other tent for other projects and it could have been stress induced, as both the Fishscales did the same thing. I’ve only found two tiny males flowers on the lowers so far, so no big deal… this is like my tester tent anyways. I’ve been thinking about re-arranging my tent setup, what would you guys do?

Definitely not. Usually ECSD looks more ‘fluffy’ to me, with bigger flowers.

Yeah, makes you wonder what Crippy he is using, or his Shoreline OG, or whatever? Definitely some of the more nuggy buds I’ve grown recently. I’d still love to just find that Archive cut of Sour D and grow that out… I see it floating around on clones menus, but I’m not sure I trust anyone unless it comes directly from the source.

Exactly! I can hear the music in my head now… if I start posting weird pictures of sculpted mashed potatoes, you know the aliens got me.

Thanks man, glad to have you along! Quite the transition I went through - going from non-legal state, to having clones and cannabis on every street corner.

Personally, I’d bitch-slap you for rubbing it in my face about how much space you have haha. Just kidding. I am envious, though. What’s the problem? I mean, where else would you put everything? I like the way the big tent fits perfectly underneath where the ceiling gets lower. I mean, maybe switch where the 3x3 and 4x4 are? But what purpose would that really serve? Looks great to me! The fact that you can even stand back and take some pics of the whole thing is pretty awesome. I have to rotate plants in and outta the tents just to snap individual plant pics haha.

I’m actually more curious where you’re venting everything. Does it just stay that cool in the basement year-round that you don’t need to vent heat? Or do the lights just run that cool?

I actually think it’s his Shoreline ECSD that grows like that, just based on everything I’ve seen online. I did a pretty “deep-dive” after I’d ordered those ECSD bx3 seeds, read everything I could, everywhere, and nothing I saw really resembled ECSD at all. Made me wonder if he either got a fake ECSD plant or maybe he just selected for the Shoreline OG-leaning plants to further the work, rather than the ECSD-leaners.

I allllllways sculpt my mashed potatoes before I eat them. And the aliens haven’t gotten me yet…

I’d vertically divide the middle tent and add another light so that you can have bonsai mothers in one compartment and seedlings & or cuttings in the other compartment. Unless of course you already have a designated mother tent.

Haha, yeah I’m grateful for the space, no doubt! There’s not really a problem, I suppose, just wondering if I could do it more efficiently. I think I may move the SIPs to the grey tent with the newer Timber Cypress and make the older black Apollo tent the tester tent. I may move the two 4x4s next to one another, and flip flop the cycles so that one tent is always on.

The grey tent is getting vented by a 4 inch AC Infinity into a carbon filter outside the tent to the left inside the closet that’s not pictured. The closet is always open, so it’s really just venting back into the space. The black 4x4 and 3x3 are connected via 6 inch ducting and the AC Infinity 6 inch is venting both tents into a Phresh 24in filter that is sitting on the black shelf between the tents. Smells like a dentist office when I walk down here usually, as long as the tents are sealed up. I don’t really like daisy chaining the tents like I am, but it’s only temporary.

I think since the heat is venting into the space, and the space is in a basement, as long as I leave the curtain open to the stairs that lead up to the garage, the heat all rises up to the garage and the cool air from up there flows down into the basement. It’s a nice little system actually. The tents didn’t get over 84 last summer, so I’m hoping I can pull the same thing off this summer. Right now they’re consistently maxing out at 75 degrees, dropping to about 65 at night. The LEDs lights really do put out a lot less heat though. When you’re ready to upgrade, go to a strip LED system, for sure. I like my Cypress a lot, I wish I had the even bigger version, with more light bars.

 Haha, yeah, I have another 2x3 tent in the laundry with floros for cloning and bonsai moms. I actually need to probably downsize some and stay more focused. But, I can’t help myself really… I just get the itch to pop more seeds and there’s really not much I can do to stop it

Or have they… muhaha. Maybe they got you a looooonnng time ago

I also tent grow in my basement and am right at the same temps using strip LEDs. All my tents vent out to the basement and I can adjust temp and humidity in the tents with the exhaust fan. Run a dehumidifier 24/7 year round and can also use it for adjustments.

Good idea, I do have windows directly behind both tents, but there’s no screen or anything on the windows. So I’d have to rig up something if I wanted to vent outside, some sort of screen or something to prevent back flow. If I could make modifications to the house, I’d be all over it - hell, I’d probably just ditch the tents all together and have the lights hung from the ceiling in that case. But for right now, everything seems to be working out, definitely glad I don’t have to run AC as much as I did in the south

A little Monday morning update while I avoid real work…

Glad I let the Fishscale go a bit longer, they seemed to fill out a bit more.

DLA5 looks like a quick finisher

Really like how this Casper OG came out in the tiny 1/2gal pot. Might get an ounce and half from her?

Lowest and smallest nug on the plant…

SIP tent is coming down the line. Won’t be able to harvest until after Memorial Day though.

RudeBoi OG 7 lookin’ fine… just wish she would stack up a bit more.

The other Casper OG showing some colors, smells more OGish than the RudeBoi, can smell the smoky sweetness from the Face Off OG though.

Agent Orange - firey orange hairs and the buds are starting to purple a little bit. Wish this one filled out a bit more too, looks like she was hungry the whole time.

Key Lime Pie - Looks like cookies to me, smells incredibly sweet and key lime-y . Supposedly a phenotype of cookies from Burning Bush Nurseries, not exactly sure what that means… maybe an S1 of the original GSC?

My T1000 reversal has not been successful so far, going to try again with another clone and start spraying the STS earlier.

Gawddamn, though, they’re all looking really good. Very frosty.

Did you make your own sts?
I used Sebrings videos to make mine.
Also, I sprayed from Day 1 F until I saw sacs. I hope you can make that reversal happen. Maybe some grains of that pollen can make it’s way back East?

But will they get me high, that’s always the trick  I’m sure a lot of us know through experience that the frostiest, isn’t always the best. I’d say there’s a higher likelihood of something getting you baked if it looks frosty, but that’s not a guarantee. Regardless, I do like zooming on all that frostiness, trying to explore a world that I can’t with the naked eye.

It’s honestly not too much work. I mean maybe thirty or forty-five minutes a day, tops. I probably spend more time sitting there, looking at all the plants stoned, than actually doing anything with them… or taking pictures of them. I do enjoy the work though, so it’s really not like work to me at all.

Yeah man, I made my own. I had success before spraying from day 1 of flowering, but this time she didn’t spit any male parts. I’d been reading up on it since my failure, and now see that people have started spraying two weeks or so before flipping to flower. So I’m trying that now. Maybe my solution is bad, and I may have to try again with new solution? I read that it can turn a funky color if it goes bad, but it looks clear to me, so I dunno? Hopefully this clone is more cooperative… :crossed_fingers:

Casper OG for your daily eye candy…

yeah i was gonna say… you make it look good too with those camera skills, i wish they had better cameras built in phones a lot of people have amazing grows and lame phone pictures sadly!

Well damn, time flys… another run almost over. Going to chop everything in the SIP tent on the 30th, I’m at 58 days now.

RudeBoi OG 7 - killer smell to her, smoky and sweet, hard time putting into words, I wish they had scratch and sniff screens… ugh. This one melts my face every time for some reason.

Casper OG - smells more OG like - pickle-ish, peppercorns, and chemical cleaners.

Key Lime Pie - Livin’ up to her name

Agent Orange - smells like creamy or vanilla orange peels. Not super loud, but decent enough smell to her. The contrast of the orange hairs against the purpling buds is cool.

Everything is finished up in the white tent, DLA5 getting chopped this week.

Getting smells of model glue/epoxy, burning rubber, funky onions, BO, rotten fruit. Sounds kinda weird, but it all comes together to something nice and complex. The smaller pheno had more of a light kush kinda of smelling backside to her. The bigger one is all funk.

I feel like I could have removed more of the beautiful bigger fan leaves to really open her up. Pretty much no branching, just buds and leaf all the way down the main stalks. Getting nice purple color on the leaves of the smaller one, but both phenos have some purpling going on with the buds.

Very primal feeling plants… I feel like they’d do best outside under intense light, with a lot of space to grow and some heavy defoliating.

Going to pop some new seeds soon, and pick up some more clones… pretty sure I’ve decided on Bodhi’s Baba Kush ( Bubba Kush x SSDD ) and grabbing some clones of Grape Pie from Cannarado, Peanut Butter Breath from thugpug, and maybe something else… I have been looking for old school cuts like SSH, Durban, Jack Herer, Trainwreck, and Bubblegum… I would love to run those classics.

Hope all is well with everyone’s grows, take care!

Maybe some AK-47? Those are like all of the strains I bought my first time to Amsterdam in 96’. I’m definitely feeling likes a classics run is in order!

Plants are looking fantatstic

This was one I looked at quite a bit. I’m not sure if the Bubba Kush cuts are the same or not since the SSDD mom is Bubba Kush x Blue Moonshine  but if it is the same or at least related, then I’d think this cross should bring out a lot more of those pheno’s. Kinda like an extended backcross :yum:
