That Michigan M3 soil is pretty ok, possibly a little hot for seed starting though. The only thing I really found is that the part on the packaging where it says to pH adjust your water to 6.5 isn’t really a suggestion–it’s pretty much required…at least if you’re growing indoors. And for best results, you’ll want to top dress around the flip, especially if you’ve vegged for several weeks in the same container you’re flowering in.

I had gotten it cause I’m moving away from promix, feel like they’ve gone down hill or maybe we just store too much shit outside here in Michigan but I’ve had way too many infestations using them.
I mixed the leftover vermiculite into a bin with the dirt so what I’ve got the seedlings in has a TON of vermiculite in the M3… Did transplant two autos into the new M3 from the vermiculite and the larger of the two seems fine… Got 15 Pure Michigan FOR that have been in there for a day or two and half were popping through last night when I got home from work, so we’ll find out real quick how happy or not they are.
Appreciate the advice deeply and I’ll have to start phing before watering those as suggested for sure.

I hear ya. For what it’s worth, I just finished up a grow using Promix HP with no bug issues. Bought it earlier this year, but most likely from a different store. That said, the grow prior was scrapped due to bug infestation brought in by some new seedling soil I was testing out.

Figured I’d give an indoor update, been embarrassed of how hard it’s been for me to get hydro going again so I’ve been neglectful of showing any of it lol I’ve gone through 5-10 auto seeds trying to sprout and get them big enough for the buckets

First is @Mr.Sparkle Ghost Rose x Devil Cookies. I had a 90° trainer on the main stalk and after a day of being ok the next day came back and it’d snapped. Put some 45° trainers on remaining branches and it had enough time to fill out decently. Spots are from using Super thrive on it, I don’t think I’m a big fan of the product, killed a few young plants by cooking em.
This is a Creeper Haze from Master Sensei Genetics (I think? I’ve killed and restarted too many at this point…) Just got put in 2 days ago but fuck it could also be Slurricane auto, I can’t remember which died and got restarted
Lemon Thai from Master Sensei Genetics, this one was smaller than the ghost rose for weeks and is finally exploding.
A second Lemon Thai if I’m not mistaken, I’m 90% sure I gave this one Tobacco Mosaic Virus when I was chopping the tobacco, roots don’t look happiest though… Just splashed some hydrogen peroxide in there as an experiment.
Tiny flower is Future #1 auto from Anesia, I killed one and this one is stunted… Pissed cause of how expensive the seeds are… Really wanted to make more seeds of/with that but now’s not the time, seems to be a winter project when I’ve actually got the time to do it
Here and in the solo cups I’m testing the Pure Michigan F3 I made and the Frozen Coke f2 sct2020 made, germ rates were 90%+ on mine, maybe 60-80% on his but he harvested too early. Gonna cull males and see what flower looks like for all the phenos.

I had to give up vaping like I should’ve gave up cigarettes, vaping too hard on my COPD. I’m super happy with some of the colors, the purples I’m almost certain are from @Purple-N-Hairy’s side of the genetics but man there’s so many of these I just can’t wait to try. Thoroughly impressed with the product from outdoors this year, looks almost like indoor lol

Little home Depot hand pump sprayer that was cheap
@mr_jones15 @ShiskaberrySavior it’s the TrimPal 2lb trimmer, spins ridiculously slow compared to most modern wet trimmers that are all about high speed but it’s also super gentle on the buds while doing 90% of the trim work for me
