Hey people.
Every time (every year) I have to pay for a prescription for license renewal it’s always a back breaker. I’ve wanted to find a free, or at least much less expensive (online) clinic that will provide me with my prescription .
I searched for threads regarding this topic, and I found and read the relevant posts that I could find within this thread.
Can some of you please provide updates on what clinics are available and at least “reasonably” priced?
I read “lyteclinic” and “theclinicnetwork” (the latter sounds like a resource to find a clinic though, rather than a clinic itself - I haven’t read over these sites yet). I’ve been using mcrci for years now. I just honestly can’t afford the price and it’s just absurd to be paying these prices for essentially nothing.

I think I pay $158 canadian a year. I am not sure if that is reasonably priced, but it works for me.

Lyte was free for 5g when I renewed last year, and they were efficient.

Can I ask which clinic that is with? And if they offer online appointments/consultation? Also, what amount is that for - do they have one of those crazy sliding scales based on amount? I think that’s about half what I’ve been paying. Currently, I’m at 12g/day and that’s ok for me.

Good to hear they were efficient. I wish it wasn’t the weekend now or I’d call them tomorrow. My prescription is higher than that and I’d like to continue with what I currently have.

There are a lot of places that will take your money for a prescription make sure you talk to the owner you can always wheel and deal with them I often tell him I’m about to sign up with somebody else for a better price and they knock those down by 10 or 20% usually I can let you know who I deal with and who is constantly bugging me to get it from them

Yes, online appointments.
They do it over an app called Whatsapp. (free to download)
You do a video call with them, they ask you what you need cannabis for etc.
Super simple and straight forward. Nothing to worry about.
They send you the script in the mail and then you send that with your forms for health canada.
There may be cheaper places, but I find this place simple so I will use them again.

I might contact them as well. I started the “booking” process at Lyte. They require a 45 minute first time “Educator Appointment”. Haha. It’s good they’re looking to have patients educate their doctors; smart idea for them. (…just kidding).
If you’d like to share, please do. Like I said, I’ve been with mcrci.
It’s… odd that these places will haggle over prices, or have scales for prescription amount. So weird.

My video call was about 2-3 minutes, and all was done. 
Also, I believe you can use the whatsapp thing on your computer as well. As long as you have a pc camera you should be good to go.
I did the appointment in my backyard sitting next to my plants last year.

there goes the government, printing more money they don’t have to buy the votes of the low income folks. LOL a one time payment of 500 dollars… what a scam
Back when I rented my first 2 bedroom apartment in surrey bc… it was 1989 and rent was 325.00
Back then the government was allowing people under a certain income threshold to claim thier rent on thier taxes and a tax credit was issued that was scaled to your income.
That is what the government should be doing… a 500 one time pay out is merely virtue signalling to the sheeple.

Yes I have been getting Licensed with Tony at License to Grow ever since I got my license.
This past renewal was again quick and painless and we had the interview over the phone. It was quite thorough and I related my doctor and pain specialists recommendations and contact info. I’m on Gabapentin and cyclobenzaprene… initially 1200mg of the Gabapentin and 30mg per day of the cyclobezaprene. I don’t like the side effects of the gabapentin and wanted to wean down and the doctors agreed to try it. So now I’m on 900mg, side effects aren;t so bad but I want off the shit altogether. So I wanted a higher plant count because the doctors agreed the cannabis was probably better based on my years of consumption and experience with relief. I want to make fresh frozen bubble and then press it in the rosin machine. That works for me so I needed a higher plant count.
So a 40 gram per day license was 203 bucks after tax because I had a 25% off coupon from Tony.
So I will continue to use License to Grow, they have been absolutely wonderful to deal with.

I just got off of the gabapentin myself. I just stopped taking it altogether, I wouldn’t recommend going cold turkey, I had a rough time. But, it didn’t do anything for me other then make me feel like shit taking it. I am happy I stopped taking it. Didn’t help with my pain at all.
The Cyclobenzaprine didn’t agree with me either. Made my heart go really wonky.

Last year my nurse yes nurse not doctor that called me was so interested in my CBD cream that we chatted for about a half an hour she asked me if I could be put on her hippie list for callbacks in case she was looking for some information I will send you the info for the place that I’m with when I get back tomorrow and also the other place that seems to be very reasonable in price and you can also send them sample of your buds and they will send you back the testing on them free if your prescription is small enough a nurse can prescribe it you don’t even have to talk to a doctor it’s a quick WhatsApp call very easy but give the government time because they are usually quite backlogged but this might be getting better now

This is the guy that keeps bugging me to get my prescription with him I have been getting mine with Alex one of his competitors I had them battling out their prices and I ended up getting 20% off their cheapest price I ended up getting my 40 G prescription for less than my 30 gram prescription last year
