I have a few branches of a outdoor plant that got pollinated and aphids and other bugs entrapped in the greenery. I was going to keep it around to use in testing out my rosin press (the one I have not built yet). Tired of it laying around I have the urge to throw it in the fire pit and lighting it up.

Luckily my power has been fine. That only matters for my plants. I have a woodstove and a propane range . But ya roads are washed out all over here.
