I live in Alberta at 55N. It might get a little dicey at the end but we typically have very dry autumns so I am optimistic! Climate change is making our growing season longer here as well. I love the structure of this plant.
It does have a beautiful structure!
I have to grow my Zacatecas next summer! I live in Oklahoma so I should be good for the season.
So my red hair cured and went from a pineapple to a straight candied lime smell, like very limey
Sounds wonderful! The best combo I ever found was mint and lime. Absolutely to die for smell and taste…
The oaxacan are budding much better this round. The difference is quite unbelievable. My third favorite plant the first round is looking like it will take slot number two this time. It has the most incredible taste. My favorite Panama male revegged in a one gallon pot ( rather than die). Every single male flower had opened on this plant and there was nothing left. It looked like it had reached senescence, and I’m pretty shocked that not only did it live, but started growing and now is producing a couple male flowers. Enough for me to pollinate a branch of my favorite oaxacan, something I regretted not doing over the winter.
This is the tasty Oaxaca. Budding very nicely this time compared to last time this is from first round, same plant that is getting grown much better this time, and nearly unseeded.
Wow, those are beautiful! Very cool.
Fooking beauty. Awesome you got a second chance to pollinate with that Panama.
They look beautiful!
really nice, makes me smile
Wow beautiful oaxacan specimen Upstate! Really wild looking flower structure.
Here are some photos of the outdoor Zacateca. It has nice strong limbs that I hope will be fat nugs sooner rather than later.
shes really happy, nice job for sue
Wow! Your plant is budding fast! Looking like it will finish for you. Nice!
Old Silversides. Still my favorite😁. 3 male flowers just appeared on one of the Bud’s. Normally this would bother me, but the prospect of getting an s-1 old silversides makes me smile.
Nice Mugworth, looks almost like cannabis. Joke
Reminds me of first Time seeing the Greenspoon Strain
You could grow this besides Roads?
The camouflage on this one is excellent. You could definitely put this in the open in an area that would allow it to finish. I think people would look right at it and not know what they were looking at. Reminds me very much of dr. Grinspoon as well. I wondered if dr. Grinspoon wasn’t oaxacan, but seem to recall I have read otherwise…anyone know what grinspoon is?
Looking like the oaxacan buds will fill in a little bit more this time, but definitely has that String of Pearls look
People are pretty confident Dr.Greenspoon is a renamed Reeferman strain called Senor Garcia. Wich is Oregon Purple Thai x Panama Red .
Whera OregPurplethai is most likely a Hybrid of Oaxacan x Thai (despite the missleading name, and differnt Myths, thats the most common view).
So, yes Barneys Dr Greenspoon is mostly Middleamerican Panama Oaxacan
One could start them in the Garden in Summer ,
when they are young and show the typical Leaves.
and place them at a Roadside around August when they dont produce more of these typical Fanleaves right? And cut some of them off at this moment, so they are only carrying the Singleblades
Thanks Upstate. I was worried about it finishing so I used an 11/13 light dep schedule for about 3 weeks to get those flowering hormones going!
I think you could do such a thing if you had the weather for the plants to finish. They do only produce those bamboo looking leaves once flowering commences, and get stranger and stranger looking as flowering goes on.
The lineage of dr. Grinspoon definitely explains a lot. No wonder people like it so much.
