Whoever I spoke with claimed to be the owner so it’s probably the same guy. I sent my results to him this morning before I posted it here. I also posted the results on another forum.
I got clones from the Fallbrook location in September and the ice cream cake definitely had it.
It reminds me of a story from my uncle. He said in the 60’s and 70’s there was a sexual revolution and everybody was fucking everybody and sometimes he’d be naked in a hot spring with a handful of strangers. He said whenever they’d get something weird they’d get a shot and everything would be ok. He said the herpes stuck with him but it only affects him a week or two out of the year. According to him his dillywhacker is unusable for sexual purposes during those two weeks. Every six months…
Having the viroid in a large garden six months ago means every day is one day closer to infection.

I don’t know man. Maybe he thinks we’re the same person because the timing? I talked to him on the 18th and he didn’t believe me so I sent him the results the moment I received them as I said I would, which was yesterday. Maybe he’s full of shit… Doesn’t make sense because it’s not a good business model.
He does not think we are the same person that’s for sure, he has me in his contacts and knows me, he would not think that at all I’m positive @Principante8
He reached out to me earlier today and said he’d make it up to me. We haven’t discussed any details yet.
Ok…so… he sent me $160, which covers the lab testing and shipping to Oakland.
Last week I told him I threw away 65-70 plants that were obviously infected. He called me a liar and asked for test results. I provided photos of the disgusting disease infested plants right away ( also pictured in this thread) and he said they looked fine to him and he questioned why I’d complain…
Yesterday I produced lab test results.
He sent a message thanking me and asked how he could make it up to me, so I thought things were possibly headed in a positive direction. This is the second “thank you” from the same order. When I originally received the clones they had root aphids. I let the nursery manager know immediately after I discovered them upon my initial inspection. No response or refund but a, “thank you we didn’t see them.”
The reason they didn’t want to refund my money is because they had done the same thing the previous day when I found spider mites and powdery mildew. They had run out of the varieties I wanted but they knew someone else that delivered clones and he was coming down from San Luis Obispo, so they plugged me into him. I drove an hour and a half to LA to pick them up. Worst clones ever. I got them home and inspected them and immediately wanted to puke. Clone Conservatory credited me for the whole batch and said they wouldn’t use that guy anymore. I knew they were outsourced and
I thought, ‘wow these guys must be legit if they refunded the whole lot’.’ I finally got some fresh nice looking clones from the Orange County location and felt pretty good about it because it was in house as opposed to outsourced. 30 minutes later I found the aphids and sent messages out to the nursery manager :-/
Two and a half weeks went by before the Hop Latent Viroid decided to show it’s ugly face. I called clone conservatory immediately and was basically told to fuck off, and that’s when I found this this thread. I think after the mite and mildew infested outsource debacle, and the root aphids, and finally the viroid, he figured I wouldn’t be returning as a customer, so no reason to try and make me happy or to be fair in any way. Its a bummer because I wanted to give them a chance to show me the quality that they have ‘in house’ vs the outsourced crap. Turns out it’s all crap.
Now, my plants are almost foot taller than I’d like because I vegged for an extra 5-7 days to fill the space, so it’s a pain because I have to bend the tops down out of the light. So I’m looking at extra work, an extra week of rent and utilities, wasted 3 hours of time and gas driving to LA for shitty plants with mites, spent money on products to kill the aphids, etc. At least I got reimbursed for the lab tests, lol. It was obvious the plants had hplvd so I wouldn’t have spent money on testing, but I was called a liar so I felt the need to defend myself and prove my innocence. At least the public, or at least whoever finds this thread, knows now how this company operates. Shitty plants, with photos and lab testing to prove it.
Please avoid this company like it’s the black plague. I think the only reason he reached out to me is because he was trying to sell you. If I were you I’d think about finding somewhere that stocks Dark Heart and pay retail. According to them they are constantly testing everything. Might be safer.
I want to add that I used to wholesale clones for $4 a piece. I don’t know what these guys pay but I’m sure it’s $3-$5 range. I paid $10 a piece to Clone Conservatory. They could have reimbursed me without having suffered much loss, especially if they only reimbursed me for the 70 bad ones. I
Due to the nature of the viroid I would have refunded the whole order if it were my business. Then I would thank God someone has better eyes than me and was able to inform me before my business fell apart and crumbled to shit.

Side note: I searched the globe for a sour bubble clone. Especially one from the earlier days. Anyone know a place carrying one?
@Principante8 im so sorry Greg was being like that! Jeez! Brother I had a plant I grew from seed for 3 rounds and on my third round w it I wanted to preserve it because it has lambsbread in it. The one and only Green Bodhi was super nice and decided to do a collaboration with me and sent me a beloved bag of Hazey Kush pollen. 1/2 way through flower with seeds in it I put the seeded plant in the middle of all of the hlv plants that I didn’t know had it touching them till it finished budding for probably a month and a half. Then I harvested it. Are all my seeds from my first official non pollen chucked breeding project fucked bro? By Greg not saying shit he has successfully put everyone who I gave those seeds to at risk for hlv if they sprout them! He is successfully promoting spreading the viroid in this way by being in denial and lying about having it to make doubt that the clones got has it. When they obviously do and there’s proof. Luckily none of the people I sent those seeds to sprouted them. My hearts broken knowing those seeds are possibly fucked and I’m upset about Greg covering it up and being a liar about it and spreading clones he knows are sick. there’s proof. And saying I’m the only one who complained for 6 months and that his cuts are clean. Evil. He’s lying which is causing the viroid to spread because of the unaware people who carry on the genetics or genetics growing with the genetics from Tcc who don’t know he’s lying or avoiding telling this information, like how I didn’t know. I told him my plants came out so shitty and he says it’s the wrong order and to trust him. Even if it was the wrong order which I think it was the plants were of no quality whatsoever and each one had different retarded traits to it that were alive (I threw away 6/12 that died or almost died or were terrible)I told him this. I say he’s heard that he had hlv before and he was reassuring me that he got the order wrong. It still didn’t make sence to me the dudding in the plants till now!! When he finds out about a problem he needs to make it right w all his customers and I think he is trying to run this company as long as it can go before it crashes at this point which it will very soon. Trying to ride it off saying he doesn’t have a problem till the end after everyone is infected and after seeds were sold of varieties in the same grow as his clones and everything like that. He’s promoting spreading the viroid! He’s promoting it! Fucking disgusting mindset of a business man who’s also a liar. I have autism which is why I do what I do for the plant and try to change the world in a positive way. He is the satan of weed because he promotes spreading hlv. He will curse everyone. And he knows it. You know why I say this. He knows he has hlv and spreads it and says it’s the wrong order like he told to me and is in denial about having hlv when there is proof and doesn’t let anyone know and treated @Principante8 bad and continues to spread these clones to every new unsuspecting customer knowingly.

Yeah man it really is a bummer. I’m sorry to hear that things went bad for you.
I know the viroid can pass through seeds but that doesn’t mean you’re 100% screwed. If the plants didn’t appear to be infected there’s a good chance they weren’t. In the interview that I watched with the scientist that discovered it in Dark Heart’s stock, it was mentioned that leaves rubbing often won’t spread the viroid and it’s not much of a concern compared to sharing scissors, etc. You might be able to get the seeds tested. Testing one at a time wouldn’t be economical but maybe you could send in a bunch to be included in one test. Say if you have 100-200 seeds send in 50 for testing. If they all come back clean it’s probably a good indication that you’ll be safe to plant the rest. I would call Dark heart or another lab and ask for details. You might be able to get it done in just a couple tests or maybe one if you’re lucky. It would probably cost $100 or less @ $25 per test. Seems like they’d have to let you include at least 10-20 minimum per test, assuming they have the ability to test the seeds. When I called Dark heart lab they answered lots of questions I had and were very easy going. It’s definitely worth a try before you give up on your amazing creation. There might be somewhere cheaper. I didn’t look around because the price wasn’t too bad. After you contact them, please let us know what they said so we’ll also be in the know. Good luck

AND if you test one seed and it is negative does not mean that the seeds are all negative plus it could be dormant @Principante8
