Thanx guys, i’ll try to remember to post a monthly Putin

Working in the garden a lot, made raised veggie beds and diggin a small fish pond.

Gonna try growing some aquaponic lettuce, and other greens with fish poo.

Replanted my pear tree, “double potted” it. Trying to prevent it’s roots, from growing in under the liner and breaking it over time.

Still a long way to go, but it’s a good start.
The stone work, will prolly be the hardest part of the build.
That will have to wait a bit, for now I’ll just put in the liner and get back to finishing the cabinets.

Day 36 in the Cheese cabinets

Really cool, I’ve thought about doing a little pond out back too. Love your hedge by the way, is it a boxwood? Something like that around the entire yard would be awesome.

Nope, im fairly sure it’s something called Viburnum opulus or Guelder rose.
It grow’s beautiful small white flowers and red berrys.

Just don’t eat them

Im really looking forward to see how these girls turn out in the end.

Day 37

Ec 1.9
pH 5.82

Spread out the big cheese plants in the HPS room even more, after moving the double potted runts.
I will start flushing the small ones now, running low on cured bud and I wanna know how much difference. The extra 3-4 weeks does for this strain, as all the pistils are red and buds are looking well ripe.
Just the trichomes have yet to turn amber

Ec 1.8
pH 5.60

How many Chinese strips are you running per shelf?

They are not china strips in the cabinets, but Italian TCI strips with Samsung lm561b chips.

There is 9 strips in each cabinet, running at 23W per strip = 207Watt

Awesome, I got confused because at some point you were testing those in a similar setup

Yeah in the veg closet, this is a totaly different build.
Based on my experiances, from the tests with the 1.3$ china strips.

Still veggin under the china strips

How did the China strips do for flowering compared to these Italian strips?

I’ll post the results here, when I get them. Still 32 days to harvest + dry time, before we will know how the first test turns out.

I got around 0.75 gpw on the China strips, on both flower tests on avarage.

This grow haven’t been optimal, so no matter the results.
There is room for improvement, on my part on the growing.

The LED’s are so far doing an okay job, at keeping up with the HPS.

In the HPS room the haven’t had the same early struggle, also the enviroment is very different atm.
Got the Dehumidifyre running 24/7, to prevent mold in the Tohici99’s.
Keeping the RH around 37-50%

Today the Gen2 1400 mA light died - 6 months + 2 days old.

Let’s recap

It’s 18 Ebay strips at 1.3$ - 23.4$ total + time soldering the removed resistors.

Heatsinkts and driver should still work fine, hoping it’s just a matter of replacing the strips.

I still got the Strip COB’s, I haven’t tested yet.

Im impressed and this have only been a positive learning experiance, no doubt that if you have the money just buy the right stuff from the start.

Are you on a budget, this will work well enough and long enough that you will be able to grow a budget and replace it with something better.
