What is or why is called blue? Did it have a bit of a blue hue to it? Looks amazing. Do you brick it for storage reasons less space? Plants look amazing, bud looks good well.

That’s what I mean by blue :blue_heart:
The flavor is also “blue” in a sense to me, I “see” blue and when I smell and taste it.

First two pics are of the two mixed in the brick above, one close up to see the pale blue that strengthens with drying in the early stages.

I brick for both storage and enhancement/refinement of effect. I utilize various sweat and fermentation techniques to make different cures in brick/cob/stick/hybrid forms depending on the results I’m after
:pray::green_heart: much love

Awesome man thanks for the pics. I can see the blue much easier. Lol I just harvest a sat leaning cross that had the blueish calyxes. Smells and taste blue that sounds pretty interesting.

Sure thing @420noob and much appreciated @herbgreen
I do love the blue leaning types, hope what youre trimmin rings the bell  that leaf in the BOEL Oaxacan seed picture above was from a strong Blue Highland Thai leaner pulled from my Velvet Rush selections…mock blueberry/flo family pools with Old Oaxacan, BOEL Oaxacan, and seemingly the strongest cabdidate so far in scent profile, the Michoacan, is a long-term project :blue_heart:

Hello Gentlemen… is there a rough timeline on the Flower cycle of this Gem? (Guerrero x Michoacan)

Beautiful work @GREANDAL.
@Elpolloloco had shared some of these Gems with me as well.

I need to complete the Owners manual…

I believe when I ran them outside I finished late November / early December, sorry not sure what that would be in weeks for Indoors though.

End of Oct would be 10 weeks in my garden… they’re a definite indoor go!

Thank You kindly @Elpolloloco

The way it’s looking to me the Guerrero might go til mid November and the huixtepec into December. It’s the first time I’ve grown either of them. I’m really enjoying just inspecting them. Unmistakably Mexican weed.

Thank you!

First time for both of these. I had expected to finish them indoors and the Huixtepec I might still but got lucky with the weather.

The Huixtepec is a nice surprise, putting on weight I didn’t expect.

I grew three Huixtepec this summer. One I harvested at about 14 wks, one at 15wks. Just yesterday I harvested the last one, the bushy one in my pictures at 17 wks. I never had a male so I pollinated with a red stem cryptic oaxacan. For lightly pollinating, I have a fair bit of seed.

The reason I waited with the last was that it never really developed tricomes but I noticed some of the very tops had died and started to dry. I took one and made sure it was dry then crumbled it up and stuck it in the bong. Definitely potent.

Very uplifting high that has a lemon custard taste. Once it hits a wave of relaxation passes from the base of my neck down across my shoulders. This is not a body high in that after that brief wave it becomes lofty is the best way to describe it.
