The Autoflower seedlings are looking good today. They got fed today for the second time.

The plant in the bottom photo appears to perhaps be a mutant. It is one of two Dosi-Dilerium seedlings that I transplanted in to their final pots today. The other Dosi seedling was taller, a tad more advanced, and overall looked healthier so that’s the one I will be reversing to make the S1 Dosi-Dilerium S1 fem seeds as well as crosses with four other strains and perhaps the oddball Dosi.

It’s going to defunkify itself hopefully. But it seems like they never catch up when that happens.

The two trifoliate seedlings I’ve grown out followed the pattern I read somewhere that most have. They were somewhat short and extra bushy because of the 3 stems per node, then when flower stretch hit they switched to normal looking alternating nodes. They were normal otherwise.

A very good buddy of mine told me that in his experience if you grow out a triploid and a “normal” plant of the same strain that the flower of the triploid will be more potent? Not sure there is scientific data to prove or disprove his theory there.

I have no idea on that, mom didn’t report any particular difference  but it was all pretty potent stuff.

Any extra yield?

Lisa spotted this deal on Amazon for their Prime Days. I had her grab me the pair. For what they are they do a great job till they get dull.

Flipping in a quick picture of the Russian Czar Bomba. I’d say she’s about 40 days post flip. I can’t seem to make her happy but she’s not dying so I’ll leave well enough alone. Her lower branches are everywhere. I like the plant LOL

I prepare the STS solution I use to reverse a female plant to make S1 feminized seeds using the information below.

Be sure to use either RO water or Distilled water.

Measuring and Mixing Stock Solution “A”

  • Fill your 500ml measuring cup with 500ml of distilled water
  • Measure out .5g of Silver Nitrate
  • Mix the silver nitrate powder into the 500ml of distilled water
  • Pour the silver nitrate solution into a brown glass bottle and seal tightly
  • Label the bottle “A” Silver Nitrate
  • Thoroughly clean the 500ml container and rinse with distilled water

Measuring and Mixing Stock Solution “B”

  • Fill the 500ml container with 500ml of distilled water
  • Measure out 2.5 grams of sodium thiosulfate anhydrous, OR 3.9g of sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate
  • Mix the sodium thiosulfate with the 500ml of distilled water
  • Pour the sodium thiosulfate solution into a brown glass bottle and seal it tightly
  • Label the bottle “B” Sodium Thiosulfate
  • Thoroughly clean the 500ml container and rinse with distilled water

Keep Both “A” and “B” Solutions Cool and Dark!

Mixing and Diluting STS
The next step is to mix the two stock solutions together properly, creating the actual Silver Thiosulfate Solution (STS).
Before using the STS, it must be diluted to a weak solution for spraying!

  • Measure 50ml of stock solution “B” with the 60cc syringe and gently squirt it in the 500ml glass measure
  • Thoroughly rinse the syringe with distilled water, or change to a new syringe
  • Measure 50ml of stock solution “A” with the 60cc syringe
  • While whisking solution “B” in the glass measure, slowly squirt solution “A” into the glass measure in less than 30 seconds
  • Pour the mixed solution into the 32oz brown glass bottle with black sprayer top
  • Add 900ml of distilled water to fill the sprayer the rest of the way, leaving room for a little bit of surfactant
  • Add yucca extract in small amounts and shake well
  • Test spray on a leaf to if solution still beads up and rolls off
  • Add additional yucca extract and shake well, until the solution spreads across the leaf instead of beading up
  • Thoroughly rinse all tools using more rinse water than usual

I changed the lighting in the flowering tent to 11/13 on/off back on the 3rd or so of September so they’re at about 40 days post flip today.

I’ve heard good things about the Mac-1 from @GCBudz who grew it beautifully.

The MOB plant is kind of a pom pom sized plant with many branches. I pretty much just let it grow how it wanted.

I know nothing about the Russian Czar Bomba strain. This is from a seed from @MissinBissin . Do you by chance have a grow/smoke report on the RCB?

These are my autos that will be pollinated to make seeds. They are at day 19 post flip.

All six plants sprouted within a day of each other, all under the same light at the same intensity, all watered and fed the same thing. Is it a coincidence that the plant in the back left (Fog Dog) is the same strain as the plant in the back middle also Fog Dog? Do bigger pots make a difference with autos?
