The most Spellbinding-Inspiring-Rousing-Interactive & Fun Autoflower Plant and Seed Journal 2023

My understanding is the 18/6 gives the best yield.
24/0 I use for veg and 12/12 for flowering photos

I would like to try and leave an auto in my veg space just to see how it goes. I don’t have the room though

I use an inexpensive Lux meter to adjust the light intensity for the plants. Measuring the intensity at the canopy. Once 10-12 days old I do bump up the lighting till I see how much makes them unhappy and than back it down just a bit.

My autos I run at 18/6 lighting starting on about day 12 give or take a couple days. The first 10-12 days I run the autos under 24/0 lighting and using my Lux meter I start out at 5,000 Lux for days 1 and 2, on day three bump up the Lux to 6,00 for days 3 and 4. On day five I increase the light up to 7,000 Lux and stay here for days 5,6, and 7. On day 8 I raise the Lux up to 9,000 and stay here till day 14.

From day 14 on I play with the light distance from the light/s and/or intensity to give them as much light as they’ll allow and keeping the plants growing structurally how I prefer. Hope that is helpful to at least one person. There are so many good methods out there to raising a cannabis plant and the majority will all work. Afterall it’s just a weed.

And what @breadwinner is :100: percent accurate as autos will begin flowering based on an internal clock and nothing to do with a light cycle.

Well, 18-6 is what I use, no point giving them more than this hours of light.

About power regulation, you just get a free ppfd or par meter, I use tent buddy, and you go outside and measure the light you get around 12h, phone facing the sun, you have your target value, go inside and use the same method, adjust high and power until you have at least the same you got outside.

Currently popping a couple Oaxacan to look for a male to hit my auto stable with. Been hunting sativa leaning autos for a bit. This is turning into a multi season quest for sure. Meph and Night Owl are answering the bell though with some sativa offerings. The Old School Mango Haze I just grew was phenomenal and caught some left over Zamaldelica Express pollen. Anywho, working towards similar goals here as well in the northerly midwest. Lots more to go through in that quest for the grail/unicorn. Just checked…4/4 with tails on the Oaxacan!

Did a little camping this past weekend with Lisa. I had her drop me off at a put in on the river and then she was going to pick me up at a landing Downstream. Unfortunately that Landing was completely removed from Hurricane Helene so I ended up going to the next Landing down which was closed because it was gone and the whole area 30 ft up from the water was knee deep sand. Little did I know when this picture was taken what a pain in the ass it was going to be to get to kayak out and up to the Jeep.

Easier than paddling up to the original landing :rofl::rofl:. Hope you enjoyed yourself

Don’t flip keep at 18/6. You’ll get bigger plants and harvest. They will start flowering automatically when they are ready. That is the auto part of the plant. Good luck hope they come out well.
@lovedaautos ya those plants jumped in just a few days looking nice!
@raintoday how about a strain like Laughing Buddha it is a giggley strain so =happy maybe?

I’m an LED grower with zero experience with mh or hps so not even a guess.

10 to 14 days from start of flowering is when i typically swapped bulbs.

Think i may go back to HID for the winter, my Mars Hydro tends to run a bit cool during the colder months.

You can flower under mh or hps. I prefer hps myself.
I’ve done veg and flower both completely under hps with no mh at all.

The real concern is temperature control with hid

Is this from seed? Looks nice.

Yes, it is a plant from seed. It’s branches are all over the corner of the tent and up against the other plants. It had a strong citrus smell 10 or so days ago but of late I’m picking up citrus, patchouli, and a fuel smell.
