It’s totally normal to be excited to want them to finish.
Watching for a decrease in watering uptake ,or less need for water is a sign of finishing as well.
I just looked again: Sophia has a long way to go yet.
12/12 - ill switch to 11/13 today, good idear
This resonates with my soul!
Beautiful pics as well bro… unbelievable ur doing all that in a fridge.

Rose has reached the clearing at the end of her path.
With mixed emotion, (and metaphor), we say thankya, for bein’ a friend.
She really came through in the end, like a diner breakfast, fat sticky and covered in blueberry something 🫐
So it goes, my friend.
You were the reason for this season
Her box has been flipped to dry mode, full plant hanging, 2 usb fans on low, pointed at the walls to circulate, and in/out airflow set to very low rate, triggered only when over 63%, off under 60% to keep it in that range for the next two weeks-ish.
Trich shots turned out better than usual, since i rigged the usb microsope up to a clamp on gooseneck mic stand. Still wobbles a little, but the shots are a Lot less shaky than ive ever gotten before.
I am crazy pleased with her end result. Now for the next waiting and worrying phase (so many of those in this game )
Sophia is still both looking more mature And full of vim and vigor. Really fatfoxing-ening up, if that makes sense. Never had a plant grow quite like her before.
Like tootsie always says…. we’re gonna roll with it™.
Her smell is evolving into something more food like and a little less candy, like a salty butter layered over the caramel. Ive heard thats something to indicate maturation, so we’ll keep on keepin on til she shows the Ghost
Busy day today, figured out a good way to reduce my GD tincture (garage passive evap was not cutting it) in a mason jar in a double boiler on a wet towel with a fan on it (and all the windows open), easy peasy.
Also made over a cup of high test coconut oil (at least i pushed all the buttons).
Happy harvest! Great Job, Very cool grow room too!
Well done , good luck on a good dry and cure! I have also been considering the part developing smells may have in being indications of ripeness. GL

Sophia
Has me scratching my head a little.
Was thinking of pulling her down today but since she doesn’t look done yet, im down for another week of waiting for oldness to set in lol . Wouldnt have thought she’d reveg on me, but per @HeadyBearAdventures that might be just what happened.
Continuing to just give her phd water and 11/13 sched (unless thats stupid? In uncharted waters there is only confident guesswork)…. She still smells Fantastic, like caramel candy (and i hate werthers!)
Rose
On the other hand, i understand what she went through this summer, and why she ended up the way she did.
Cure went great, flux between 64% and 58% at the extremes (though mostly between 62% and 60%) Wood moisture meter reading was 12% (right on the money per grove bag FAQ) this morning when i pulled her out of drydock
My tools
My patient
The result (and hidden Mickey )
Not much to photo (i didnt even weigh it) and i didnt get a good shot of the sugar trim, but there was a lot of it in with the larf. Real sticky, and enough to make a good bit of oil after i let it cure (not sure if it will make the oil less ‘green’ but i got time, and its worth a shot.
More bowl shots lol
And the sad part, ~40 seeds
Which i knew were coming due to her she-nanner-gains, was just hoping for not as many/much
not Really sad though- i vaped a small bit of trim i found stuck to my shirt and got pretty zooted for a While. Plus the taste was Very flavorful and not very rough/green like it can be before a cure so
Went into grove at 52%, added a fresh fan leaf, climbed to 54% and seems to be holding. I can drop a 58% boveda in to bring it up a bit tomorrow if it doesnt increase by the morning, then take it out once its up around 58%. Again just educated guessing around here so if this sounds like a bad plan, light me up
All in all, im experiencing new scenarios, learning from them and i still will end up with good smoke and oil, and a bunch of seeds that, if i absolutely needed to, could run again someday (though probably not, since i aint tryna keep bad genes around…)
No complaints from me. Thats it for the Not Fridge files, at least until Sophia does something interesting
It’s a bold call my brother, but I stand by what I said!
That extra time oughta pay off nicely.
I’m gonna hang out over here on the bean bag, wake me up if you need me.
They say not to poke your kind, but
What would you be feeding her at this point if it was your plant? Never been in this position before, do i ease back in at low strength? Or stick with water and try to starve her to death? (Not to sound too dramatic )
Hard for me to say; I run living soil, so I don’t flush.
I would bet she’s hungry though, and you do want those flowers to mature, so I vote feed.
Edit: that said, she looks remarkably healthy!
Thank you kind sir. Ill mix a light feed, turn up the lights and we’ll see what she’s made of in the next couple weeks

Improbably, Sophia is still trucking.
Signs are there that she’s coming in for a landing, however
Leaves are fading, less new white pistils, foxes are bulking a little…
I love a day off
Made some coconut oil gummies (burnt orange - the burnt part was unplanned but tastes pretty good actually!)
And some tincture chocolates
(And a mountain of dishes )
Yum
And… took apart the rootball from Rose
With the intent of collecting a bunch of roots i could turn into topical cream…
And i learned a bunch of things!
Only a tiny tug, and the whole stem and top roots popped right out of the pot
Looks like just 3 roots of significant size connecting above and below…
Those 3 roots then exploded into this mess
And, the coolest thing- i can see right where it all began -the seed point (just above and left of thumb- still hanging on lol)
Way less root mass than i thought id get, but something’s better than nothing

Sophia
It’s that time of the grow again… to play
IS
SHE
DONE YET???
🫣
Maybe maybe not.
Hows the weather in there? To an admittedly amateur meteorologist like myself, looks like partly cloudy with a small chance of amber …. Close enough, i say
(for real this time )
Tomorrow she gets the axe - OG gods above forgive me if i take a plant before her time, but i just cant with this one any longer.
Plus, new shit is on the way…including this news:
The Not-Freezer is once again open for business!
“Now abusing”- 4 seedlings, 3 strains, 100% OG run:
1 Frankenstein Fem from @JohnnyPotseed (as yet unnamed)
2 Ketosis x Ice Cream Cake 98 Reg from @Illicitmango (hoping for at least 1 female) codename(s): Mug , since per mango the mom smelled like root beer
And
1 Scarlet Grape Auto fem (my first auto ever, bred by @Going2fast , F2d by @blowdout2269 ) codename Joe for Scarlett Johansson bc why not?
Seed pic
Germinated in root riot plugs, wedged close together in part of a seed tray (to stay moist), under a loose dome on top (salad container) and on top of my LED rack for extra coziness.
Sprayed with water a few times when they
looked (and felt) dry, and gave a little splorp of water from the bottom 2 times over the last few days.
5 days later, all 4 above ground, 3 smacking the roof
No root pics, but strong furry tap roots were starting to wrap around the plugs on all 4 when i transplanted into solos - that is, for all but the auto… .
So i heard a million times “dont transplant autos" but didnt Really Think about that until she already started sprouting from the plug… so i am trying something crazy
I knew id have to get creative up here, but i didnt think id get This crafty today
Side-Domin’
Inside
Plan for her is to work her from the side, along a trellis* to the lower left of the open freezer space. Hoping that would end up with a nice canopy, despite the obvious height clearance issue i should have seen coming with the octopot.
I figure if i bent her over so far to do that from the top, she might like that less than this? We’ll see…
*technicality check - (if i call it a “not-scrog”, would that work @HeadyBearAdventures ?)
Franky (working callsign) will go Fridgebound, and Mug(s) will go cabinetward.
But first, to get out of babystage. I can afford to lose all of these seeds now that i have a goodly little vault saved, (a nice feeling) but nobody’s actively trying to kill anybody around here… yet! even for the sake of science
Stay tuned, fridge friends, things might just get Cool this winter
That’s a cool idea. I’m interested to see how far up the roots will go. Edit: Oooohhhh, it’s on an octopot, well played sir.
@Not-Notjosh now we’re talking! That should be some Heady smoke now!
Neat setup! I’ll definitely be following along. Always love seeing creativity like this.
Best of luck to you on the grow brother!
Thanks brother
Never run regs before so i am male ignorant lol. If you’d be so kind as to keep an eye out with me for any signs of male-volence afoot ♂ id be ever so grateful
Feels good
They been waitin’
Thanks for helping me stick it out, bud.
