The quest for unicorn gold!

Yum yums! You can see where it was dried already vs moisture present!

So every time I go to cut up the hash is just a sticky mess I don’t get it …sticks to the spoon even to scoop it out of the bag . I finally figured it out …these r the details you’re leaving out

So i started taking a little bit of water and dripping it over the hash making it easier to scoop off the parchment paper onto the glass plat for drying

Scroll up and find my post where I made a video showing exactly what youre talking about. Ditch the spoon. Actually, I’ll find it. Give me a sec.

Yup ditching the spoon deff gotta whip it more that might help …gotta practice that little hop technique I usually do the sword fighting swing
Thanks bro !

Yeah your problem is definitely not getting it dry enough in the bags before trying to cut it up. Ideally it will look like a clump of moist beach sand in the bag when it’s ready. Some plants are just gooey no matter what but extra hard swinging will still help get them as workable as possible.

Yah if you ever have trouble with super sticky batches, adding some water drops makes it kind of float around like sand. That’s how I made the super sticky batches into super thin layers. These days I pick it apart like blobs of cat food.

Yeooooo Joe
Can I just add more material to my ice/water after first batch is whipped up ?

I would do the batches sequentially or else risk plant fiber contamination.

That’s what I thought as well I used a strainer spoon to get most of the plant material out ! Little contamination I assume but she still came out Perttyyy
proceeded from there had to add more ice but deff better then starting from scratch every time !
Still not sure how much material I can cram in a bucket
I also just grabbed the bottom of the hash bag after swinging it…I wringed out the hash while it was still in the collection bag deff removed a lot of water that way .

I used to squeeze out the water, but I find the acceleration does a better job. You should be able to cram a kilo of fresh frozen buds in a 20 liter/5gal mix.

Gonna be cranking out the big bud outdoor today! Realistically it was from the greenhouse, so it could be considered indoor. Probably about noon or something I’ll start!

Awwwww, yah! I put three bags of big bud in there including the outdoor. Only the 90 bag and 220 work bag.

This time after I dumped out the first batch of hash, I went back and rinsed the bag into the center and spun it again. That’s how I got those little side piles! After it was clean as I could get, I rinsed the bag in cold water inside out. Hung to dry! I think I got 99.9% of the hash out of there with no waste. Flushed the 73 down the drain.

Hand in there for scale.

Bag remnants I got out of there.

Main blob! It’s chilling in the freezer now, all crushed up into tiny bits. I’ve perfected my tech on that front.

Buddy had a story about flushing a kilo of sessile trichomes down the toilet. It was nice to know I’m not the only picky fucker on this earth!
