Cant fault you for feeling a certain way. I enjoy others work because im not super proficient with indoor or breeding. However I do buy packs and support growers. No hard feelings. I need to think before I posting.

Starting to get close to go time. Just need some space to open up.
I ended up with 3 males from the 10 seeds. Again, thank you @SamwellBB. 1 male from each sets of seeds (FPOG F3 JAWS, FPOG F3 Green Acorns and FPOG Cereal Ic2)
Of the 7 remaining females, I culled a runt female from the IC2. Leaving me with 6 to dig through for a bud run.

I think GH got great genetics. Id buy a pack from him before a possibly good strain of SD. When he puts his magix on the 2 its gonna be fire.

Yum, Sundae Driver!!
Never smoked it here in Canada, but was eyeing it on Strainly for a while. Popular in Washington and Oregon.
Id love to try some outdoors here on muh farm in Ontario. Had a great outdoor year this past year.
We re-work and re-create our favorites here because we love the qualities of that cultivar, and we want to hold in seed form also.
That original Sundae Driver cut was selected for certain growing conditions. It may not work well if the conditions are very different from which it was selected from. (ex. cultivar was selected under 1Khps’s and using a flood/drain table. Im running the Sundae Driver with an LED light and running an organic soilless mix)
When u reformulate the strain, it gives you the advantage of digging in the genetics finding a cultivar that works superior for your conditions. Or you may want a more PM resistant cultivar, a quicker flowering cultivar, you want your Sundae Driver on a smaller or larger chassis.
G/L bro… If u wanna see some outdoors next summer Id be down for a few beans if the opportunity ever opens up.

I’d say the biggest advantage to recreations is the huge prices they charge for originals and for people that grow from seed instead of cloning it can get costly !
Also a lot of hyped strains they seem to limit the number of seeds released to keep the price up along with feeding the hype train !
Personally I’m all for people making seed of the 200 dollar 5 seed packs that are being sold I know I sure can’t afford those kinds of pricing , so something like wedding cake gelato etc will be the only option for me to try any of those !

Well I am a big conspiracy theorist I have said before and again. But I believe that in the US with them all of sudden pushing the legality of cannabis, it’s for the profit and not for the advancement of the plant. We know for a fact they are working on genetics that cant be copied. We also know they’re studying the economics from each state they make legal individually and the effect it has for the community. so in my personal opinion you should want to have as many genetics as possible if they are creating ones that can destroy the landraces and heirlooms. What is going to happen when your seeds banks cant supply your landraces or your favorite heirlooms? you will have to use the work of someone you trust but the greats or the chance to recreate them will be lost for ever. Sorry for cluttering this thread. Just my opinions tho

The US isnt all of the sudden puahing legalization. LOL.What state are you in? Nothing is legal here. Conspiracy stuff is counterproductive. I lived in GA NC. Those Bible belt states are fighting tooth and nail. Its federalky illegal. If they pull the plug. IF they pull the plug Humboldt and the “napa valley” of weed will get crushed.
Enjoy it. It can be taken. This is why I stay at my house. The stuff that people “Think” makes me worry. People believe anything anyone tells them. Jesus Christ they found satans skull on mount everest. Ahhhh.

I was only referring to the states that’s going Recreational. I know we are not budging federally but we have opened testing facilities and companies for it. They are popping up left and right. And when you follow the money that’s where the problem lies. As far as the conspiracy theories there is always a hand controlling the currency

Yeah I understand understand bud. I guess I’m just mad because we were supposed to get 6 plant count with our MMJ cards here and somehow in the legislation we lost the plants totally and we were the first one of the first states to get medical marijuana it took us five years to get a brick-and-mortar open it’s absolutely insane here because of the fent and all problem we have affecting everything. So I apologize if I come off kind of brash. I’m ready for our state to go recreational it sucks not being able to have a little outdoor plot and still kind of safe. I feel like I’m still doing something wrong. It’s snot wrong I shouldn’t feel wrong for doing what I’m doing so I guess it’s my personal choice and I’ll continue I appreciate your conversation good conversation

The males are getting sent to 12/12 tonight. They are fairly consistent in side branching and overall size so far. One has much darker leaves with some nice curls, but not the stinkiest of the bunch.
Going to give em 10 days before I send some females into party with em.

Down to 2 of the males now, One just had no smell to it at all and very weak stems, Off to the compost bin for it.
The two remaining plants have been moved to a distant place to drop the pollen.
The females are getting ready in their first few days of flower.

looks as tho the left one is dropping pollen already. Any idea if the earlier males mean earlier bud maturity in the progeny?

The males are doing their thing in a closet, just waiting for the Grape Pie to get ready to go to the dance. Im leaning towards only using the one on the left, but we’ll see what happens over the next week of so.
Its a little chilly in their closet, but they are doing alright for just being under some spiral bulbs.
