News flash: Her sister might have been a stealth clone without any smells. But pheno #2 wants to be a guerilla grower when she grows up. So nothing, not a hint of anything. I think when they made this cross they fixed the guerilla gene. They should have gone with that.
I don’t want to jinx it. Maybe she’ll get loud in a few weeks when she starts fattening up.
It wasn’t a huge pull, but that’s not the plant’s fault. That’s my fault. As you recall, I planted her initially in the shade of her big sister. In depleted soil. I did eventually feed her, but not until almost time for flowering to start so she lost a lot of time.
You know I’ve been complaining about the smell. She smells fantastic. Roasted garlic. Unless you ask my wife, who says grapefruit. I know…you think “Garlic?” It’s not an appetizing smell, but now for me, it has become an obsessive alternative to the skunk I was looking for. It’s most of the way there anyway.
I decided to try my hand at making charas from about a third of the plant. It’s too wasteful to do again, but the hash is just as good as the smell. An excellent, functional buzz that lives up to the original meaning of that word. -you old heads will understand. My head was lifted and I was feeling fine. I haven’t smoked the flower yet, but I’ll let you know when I do.
The leftovers from my charas experiment will go into an ethanol extraction. So the only thing going to waste is that sticky resin I had to wash off my hand.
