Mayhaps this will require some exploration
Dude worked for NASA.
i tried to read it, i gave it a shot anyway. i got all the way to the part where it said, “What are the problems with believing everything is made of matter?” and then i realized why dude doesn’t work for nasa any longer. science and religion doesn’t need anything more than there is to reconcile it, i’ve seen how that happens. philosophy is just an exercise in trying to explain it so doesn’t need reconciled. but sure, i’ll try to finish it in some spare time i have because there just may be a hidden gem of knowledge wrapped inside somewhere.
Actually matter is Extremely empty to the point where normal “things” would pass through each other not touching if not for bond forces on an Atomic level.
yet everything is made of it. and quantum weirdness just is, no need for reconciling it with anything. haven’t had time to get through much of it yet.
And what decides those bonds? Consciousness.
The atomic and molecular structure of everything is planned and designed on a quantum level and then stepped down and expressed on atomic and molecular level. Everything is shaped and held together by the will of souls and groups of soul consciousness, in the same way our soul decides how long we live, it depends on how interesting our lives are on a soul level and when certain objectives are met we drop our body.
We are born because our soul desires experience as a human being in order to learn about itself, so we choose our parents because since our soul also has preferences, we make a genetic blueprint of what we wanna look like based on the genetic material available at conception in order to have certain desired experiences.
Some are born blind, why? Because on a soul level it was desired to experience what that would be like and to give the parents and caregivers a chance to express empathy, compassion and care, which was also desired by their souls. Even the most horrible experiences were desired on a soul level, no matter how stupefying it may be to us as a human.
Why would you want to experience suffering?
Because when we suffer we appreciate not suffering much more.
Without darkness we wouldn’t appreciate the light as much…
We wouldn’t know what bliss, joy and peace is like…
That’s how I make sense of it all, and it brings me peace more than anything.
Acceptance of what is, is very powerful and transformative.
It has helped me heal and deal with pain tremendously.
How to achieve inner peace in one word? Acceptance.
And from that acceptance you can then focus on what brings you joy and create more of what brings you joy. But acceptance of all that is, is the first step. If you keep pushing against what is, then it will keep pushing back. When accepting what you don’t like, only then can you transform it by making adjustments, or creating or finding alternatives that you do like.
after that fist sentence it was hard to continue reading this post but i am glad that i did. i try to keep an open mind to things and slow down on calling bullshit on things just because i think they’re wrong or whatever other reason. but then again, i guess receiving a divine mission and attending a council of angels will do that to you. talk about some scary shit. anyway, thanx for sharing those thoughts, and in the words of my priest, peace be with you.
My big toe is the seat of my consciousness.
There is no right or wrong. All spiritual planes align. I am one with the Eather, I have become @Foreigner 's toe.
We are one. We are many. We are all my toe.
