On a happy note the sour grapefruit is a real pleasure so far. I have a workable 24 to 30 in of canopy depth if I train everything correctly. It’s hard to see but I think you can get the idea that there’s plenty of chunk all the way through these plants. Awesome structure.

Sowah grapefruit fan leaves. Hard to tell from the angle but each of these are 3 to 4 in long. This is getting silly good.

That NYCO was special… Terps and an after taste that stuck on your tongue. Only have a few pics of the original mom that was hit to tony’s GB to start the line… Would have made that around 2017/2018 when I gifted those to Tony, I think.
Have original NYCO in lots of regular outcrosses, a few s1s, and a few more outcrosses as a reversed pollen donor.
We let her go because structure, yield, and potency could be improved (also too leafy, making for a not so fun trim)… Which is why we hit her to the GB and a dozen other things. From @migreenman pics, it’s clear tony took the line in the right direction to improve all the original downsides of the NYCO mom and keep the terps with the Karma collab…
