Mindblower Haze DAY 86
The resin is really starting to pile on and the buds are getting fat and foxtaily.
MB1 has a hazy oily metalic smell at this point, it reminds me of a the smell of a welding shop except muskier.
MB3 has a Pineapple metallic hazy smell… super appealing. I really wish I could have kept MB3 happy to see her true potential. I have a feeling I am leaving some resin behind for sure. A finicky girl compared to her sister which has received the same treatment.

This new foxtaily growth has me a little perplexed . I wonder if it was somehow light stress as it is just the tops that grew too close to the light that show the crazy almost veg like foxtailing.

Hey @potpotpot sorry, they are not available for sale. They are made by Maha Kala, a bit of a haze legend over at ICMag IMO, who passes them out to friends. I have tried to invite him over to OG a few times but he likes his ICMag.
He has some strong opinions sometimes, but I love how he is exploring new types of Haze hybrids without NL influence that a lot of the Dutch haze work has. For example instead of NL he went with a Pakistani/Thai for Mindblower with the idea that it would bulk up the flower a bit, add some interesting smells, and highlight the Thai side of haze. He seems to have a very specific idea / phenotype in mind when he makes his crosses which I appreciate. But you wont find much under 13 weeks in his work.

I realize it was 8 days ago but I wanted to note that Mike and others have said some of his Blueberry seeds (and I would assume crosses as well) might need some help cracking initially. Just a thought when you said 4 of 6 popped.
I didn’t get any of those seeds but I did get his hazeberry x c99. I think I managed to grab almost everything he had, c99 itself included! Preppy pumped for when I get around to popping more of his stuff

Yeah, I had peaked in at the haze threads, but there was so much drama to sift through I never saw a clear source for them. And I never got comfortable enough there to engage those guys. Thanks for the info!

@potpotpot Heh yeah there are a couple haze threads on ICMag that are chock full of overinflated egos and drama, I stay away from those ones haha.
Maha’s personal Haze thread is pretty chill though. If you pop in there Ill tell those old farts to give you warm welcome.

Damn @Fitzera the Hazeberry x C99 sounds like a really nice cross. I am 5/6 now but have given up on that last seed. So not too bad of a germ rate!
