I have a few things for sale. 10 white (5, 5g and 5, 1g) rainscience grow bags that have been used only once. They’ll come clean of course. Asking 75 for the 10, which includes shipping.
I also have this light if anyone has interest. It hasn’t ever been used and I will take offers instead of an asking price.

Northern Alberta here and have a couple items I’d like to sell rather than trade as I have so much grow stuff.
I have a TrimPro Unplugged I bought lightly used from a hydro store in Edmonton a few years back for $300, (original price was $599.95 and the sticker is still on the side).
The first owner cut some nice round holes in the bottom so it could fall thru for more production I guess so I’ve just cut a round piece of parchment paper to lie on the bottom with a few pieces of pot stem to hold it down until the trim puts some weight on it. I always liked to trim wet and this thing doesn’t work so well for that. Tends to flatten the bud leaves up against the bud as they are so sticky when fresh but works good on buds that are partly or mostly dry. Makes lots of good sugar trim for those that like making oils etc.
Just like this one and made in Canada too. Can ship COD in Canada so you could look it over before giving the PO your cash. I only used it twice and that blade is razor sharp and dangerous. Ask me how I know. I’d like to get $150 for it.
Another barely used item I bought brand new for $270 + tax is a Grozone Ultra Simple CO2 controller. Original box with user guide and receipt included. I just used it to see how well my DIY alcohol lamps worked at adding CO2 to my grow and realized I don’t need to be buying a CO2 tank to get what I need. I’d like to $150 for this too and should be able to ship it COD as well.
I went a little overboard buying stuff to make gummies. Bought two molds that each make 192 - 4ml gummies or chocolates. One for CBD and the other with the Canadian THC pot logo like that on ‘legal’ pot packaging. Have 6 kilos of Jello powder in 3 flavours, bunch of flavourings, guar and xanthan gum, unused silicon squeeze thingy and other stuff I’d have to go through. I used the CBD one once with chocolate and it worked great and I developed my own technique using a hot plate and shallow cookie sheet with hot water on top of that to keep the mold hot enough that stuff won’t go all hard before you get the holes filled.
I don’t know enough people who want gummies to make it all worth the effort and am just going to make caps for the meds we need in our small circle.
The THC one is still in the original wrapper. I did not need the variac to make it work like a charm
If anyone is interested in this stuff we can discuss further.
Gotta start knocking down that VISA card or use some for a small boat I can haul around in my little quad trailer. Don’t have a quad and don’t want one either.
I didn’t take any pics of the buds but they looked like most machine trimmed ones I’ve seen. When I used it with drier buds I thought it did a great job but now I’m just snipping off anything that doesn’t have sugar on it and freezing it right off the plant rather than drying it at all. I plan to us naphtha on that to make oils then vac distill the filtered result to recover the solvent at low temp to preserve as much of the terpenes etc as I can.
I’ll just hand trim and cure some of the top colas for having some smoking bud for myself and friends.
What kind of results are you seeing on Utube videos from people not connected to TrimPro?
When using these things there’s still some prep work before tossing buds in but very little if any trimming after unless you’re really fussy which seems to be my biggest problem when I sit down to trim buds by hand. I waste way too much time once I get in there with the Fiskars.
I’m still not all that certain if I really want to sell that stuff yet. I liked the chocolates CBD ones I made and really don’t want to sell the molds separately. I got them from a company in the states called PJBold.com and they are still at the sale price of $40US each. With exchange and shipping the two of them ended up costing me $150Can.
I’m not in financial dire straits or anything but the interest on the credit cards is getting to be a bit much so selling off a bunch of stuff I don’t use. Want a 2005 Chevy Malibu that’s an ugly green with a bit of rust but mechanically in great shape with receipts for lots of work done by the previous owner? Goes like a dog shot in the ass too!
I haven’t watched too many u tube videos. The last time I tried there wasn’t many vids with buds actually getting trimmed.
Does it need to be fully dried or just slightly dried beforehand?
Also what’s the rough size and weight? I’d like to get an idea on what shipping would be on something like that.
It’s 3.962kg so 4 or a tiny bit above once I throw in some bubble wrap for the handle and little tool bag. Size is 38x38x30h cm. Original box that got a bit wet when I had a flood in the basement a few years back but rescued before it got soaked all the way up. Had almost a foot of water on the floor by the time I got a 2nd sump pump down there and started winning the war.
Just checking how much to ship via CP and they use postal codes to calculate costs. Maybe PM me yours and I’ll get the price. I’ll see if I can figure it out for shipping COD too. I’ll take some pics as well.
I want to clean it really well for whoever gets it and busy tomorrow so will spend an hour so cleaning it Tuesday. I have nice clean naphtha and ISO to get any old resin off the grate etc so it will be ready to use right out of the box.
The bud doesn’t have to be fully dry. A few days hang drying should be enough so the outsides of the buds are partly dry and the resin glands aren’t so sticky. I put some really dry bud in it and you end up with lots of trim and only the bigger buds survive. When they are right off the plant the bud leaves are really soft and just stick to the bud when pushed around by the fingers.
Is this the thread for new/used equipment for sale? Or can members make a specific, personal thread for stuff they’d like to sell (in the trading post forum, I guess)?
Firstly, just curious if anyone is looking for drivers (for LED’s), particularly Meanwell HLG-320h-54A, of which I have two. I have others too. But these two were each used for a pair of HLG QB-648. I’ve “built” lots of HLG DIY fixtures over the years (for myself, and for people), so I have drivers and Quantum Boards around, some still in boxes. These two particular drivers/fixtures have two flower cycles on them; two weeks of “pre-flower” vegging, and then one 70 day flower and one 56 day flower. So 154 “days”, or about 1988 hours total. Check my math though.
(17/7 “veg” cycle, 12/12 flower cycle. Ran at probably 75-80%, otherwise too much ppfd.)
In other words “like new”. Feel free to ask any questions.
I’m going to re-configure setup and will be getting a different model of drivers. I might list/sell these (and others) as the actual built fixtures instead.
Curious if there’s any interest. I’d rather sell here than attempt ebay, haha.
@Nitt I might be interested in purchasing a built fixture, if you decide to go that route. Would that take a while, or maybe just a couple weeks? I’m upgrading my veg tent very soon, and I’m gonna be looking for a light. That 320 driver would be great for my new 2x4, but I have zero experience working with electronics.
Hey @HeadyBearAdventures ,
It shouldn’t take that long, the frames are already built. I always tried to keep a standard size for frames. The length of frames are 32". They’re constructed from ~1/8" angle aluminum (satin/anodized?). And the two anodized heatsinks (from HLG) are mounted to the frames. So boards of the same form factor (QB 288; r-spec, b-spec, etc, and QB 648 ‘diablo’) can easily fit/swap onto the heatsinks. They have hanging hardware in the frame corners.
I’ll find, or take some pics to show here when I get a minute.
I also have several similar QB 96 boards, and built fixtures. Most of which, again, have either barely been used, or have not been used, and have only been installed (QB 96 boards get thermal pads between board and heatsink) and tested (I did/do voltage tests on all boards when received to test, and ‘match’ them when necessary - eg: QB 648). These are also 32" long fixtures, and have two boards each - but could have three boards on the same driver 'cause I wire(d) mostly in parallel with Meanwell CV drivers, so it’s easier to add/remove boards.
I’ll get pics asap.
How tall is that 2x4 tent? And do you only plan to veg in it?
You could also always do what I did and get a flashy expensive one on a holiday sale! Lmao
In my case, I got a SF4000 for like $320. That’s almost a $600 fixture. Does 5×5 flower(supposedly).
Oh, and I’m not trying to take away any sales/trades @Nitt. I’m quite excited for the pictures as well. Part of me actually wishes I’d have went the built route.
