Ways to send seeds... WAY TO SEND SEEDS!

Shout out here. I’ve received a couple letters like this and thought, damn thats good. If washers/ flips are effective for protection of cargo, then the cardboard w/ cutouts is that extra bit that smooths it all out to look like a cohesive unit for more stealth and keep everything in place for the rollers to not cause a problem.

I ask for Hand Canceling… no seeds have been harmed, so far

I also have had 100% success with washers and flips in a card. I have mailed hundreds.

Thanks man!! I used the freezer box cardboard, its thicker and you can load seeds into the hole.

I absolutely love the cardboard, so when you get seeds you can store the seeds anyway you like when you get them.

Flip coins are cool too. :dove:

I don’t use the flip and washer method. So this is what I end up with from folks sending to me:

Well, at least your hose won’t leak haha.
You should have a packing material giveaway haha.

Wait, does that go in a just standard long business envelope with 1 stamp?

Yep, I believe so @Gonzo . It made it from Canada to the USA and was around 25 grams.

Another plug for washers and flips from me. Hose washers are very cheap in bulk. I like the self adhesive flips when I can find them.

On a rare occasion, I have had a roller tear apart my letter. A strip of packing tape across the back seems to prevent that from happening.

That’s incredible, love that tech :+1: :astonished:

Do y’all really spend money on more expensive envelopes than business style to send seeds?

Just curious…

I use these. They are thicker then standard envelopes, self sealing and cost $0.15 cents a piece.

I really like these brown paper cards. I can compost them just like brown paper bags and cardboard.

Yeah, I went through many varieties before settling on these. They take more abuse, are cheap and like you say, compostable. Just the best option for me personally.

I bought some of these. Obviously not the best route if you’re trying to get away with regular stamps. Sent three in an envelope cost 5 bucks. Got em at the dollar store

Got told a funny story about those once.

Guy looks in the mirror. Sees one pupil is really enlarged and the other is not, a condition called anisocoria, which is usually not a benign thing. Sees his doctor. Gets all the works done, everything checks up, nothing comes out, doctor’s at a total loss.

Then he remembers his roommate had stored some cocaine in one of his lens boxes before.

I use 3d printed pucks, coin flips with washers or special containers I purchase for Co-op runs. All will fit in a standard envelope without going past the width restrictions.

I think because of the thickness, they considered these contact lens cases in an envelope to be a Package, not a Letter. They are def. sturdy and crush-proof though.

Yeah they did. Not really a good option for sending to multiple people but solid little cases.
