Totally agree I go as cheap as possible I did spend money on the Octopots to lazy to make lol they were worth every penny and a good carbon filter

Do make them it’s so easy to grow with a continuous feed system
I use a pro mix and perlite mix remember to mix at least 30 % perlite in your mix ( pack the soil in ) I like this system so far because I can control what they get
The Octopots have a 5 gallon Rez and is more or less set it and forget it
Just keep it filled and LITFA lol
I like the video I would replace the little plastic container with a net pot ( just my preference )
This is my second grow with them my plant count went down
But my yield doubled if not more
There’s a learning curve but it’s amazing what you will do
I would grow 9 plants in a scrog net and yield many 12 to 15 zips
Now I veg about the less time I use clones and I yield 20 plus zips
And this one is even better

I use Pro Mix HP with about 50 % more of a 50/50 mix of a super chunky Perlite
and super course Vermiculite so my mix should work fine
I may build a couple I have all the parts but on the other hand I have
a bunch of five gallon pails drilled for Hempy buckets sitting right here
two 6 cu ft bags of perlite and vermiculite

So I just got over a 24 hour virus and I’m dehydrated as hell and my knees hurt for some reason. I feel good enough to pollinate my plant so that’s what I did. I didn’t have the wherewithal to take pictures while I was doing it but I took a q-tip and dabbed it into the flour/pollen mixture and brushed the pistils. I let it sit for an hour and then sprayed it down with water. Now we wait.
Just to clarify, this is the second pollination if the same buds.
