Raindance
You can’t see in this photo but the Tomahawk is really gushing out with the lower branches. Coming into its “Christmas Tree” shape. Smell is crazy in here. The male is about to dump his pollen any day now, I can’t wait to see if the progeny gets the bushy shape I want. The Raindance is about 5” taller than the Tomahawk which I don’t like at all. But it is flowering harder and it is more frosty so far.

Collected some pollen about 5 minutes ago, this stuff is dark yellow. Don’t know what that means but I guess we’ll see.

So I’m highly allergic to pollen and I blew my nose and blood came out…I know this isn’t the place for medical advice but is that normal???
I probably shouldn’t have smelled the pollen, but it smells like nothing and chicken tenders if anyone was curious lmao.

for we extreme pollen allergy sufferers, i think its relatively normal. ive done the same thing with the same results

Since this is the first time Ive ever made seeds, does anyone have advice on what I should do to increase the chance of producing healthy seeds?

The pollinated mom smells like if you stick your nose to a cantaloupe. Not the fruit part, but the outside rind. So the dad smells like fried chicken and gas, and the mom smells like melon rind. I wonder what kind of monstrosity I’m gonna make here

The Raindance is so stretchy that it grew itself into the light over night and burnt itself like an idiot 
It’s ok tho, I just raised it some more. Nice resin production this early on.

Other than keeping your girl healthy, I think running till the seeds are fully mature would be key. I haven’t made a lot of seeds but when I have I ran them till they were practically bursting out. Easy to pluck a few and take a look.

Thanks man that means a lot coming from you🤙🏻 And @Papalag yes I’ve run only tomahawk before and this is my first time with Raindance but I’ve had the seeds for like a year lol. Everything coming out of the Tomahawk is a freezer. So much frost. Raindance is VERY stretchy so I doubt I’ll do any more untrained grows with her. Definitely top and LST as much as possible if you get her. Greenpoint is moving away from the chem stuff and more into S1’s and cake and sweet stuff which is cool, but I prefer old school flavors lol

The plants look very happy and healthy this thread remains me of the collage days and a friend just put 2 feet of dirt on a closet floor with a reg light bulb lol

The whole reason for this grow was for people who think they need extra fancy, flashy, expensive equipment to grow some quality buds. I’ve been growing for as cheap as possible for the better part of 5 years. Usually I grow outdoors organically and give it away for free to people who are actually sick. Th only time I ever made money off of weed was when I was 17 and I had to start selling to support the family after they lost their jobs. Anybody can grow a little bud in their closet if they know how plants work. I’m using 2 14w 5000k LED floodlights and the trichome production on these are already crazy. Is it gonna be some crazy holy shit type weed? Probably not. Is it gonna get you baked af? Yessir 
Btw idk if I’m actually allowed to say this, but I’m only 19. I’ve never even been to college, I just know of dorm grows. I’m doing the best with what I have to show people they can do the same. Hell, I even have a little seed making project on the side. Some soil, a few watts, good genetics and some water will get you a long way. And this grow proves that. @Papalag
