Weird node stretch mutation

Well this was a backup Ethos Super Lemon Haze F6 female I was going to keep to make some f7. Than today I noticed she has this weird node stretch mutation. I’ve never seen this before. I have the original seed in flower outdoors right now and I think she looked normal but I’ll have to go check her tomorrow morning and take pics of the flower structures.

Anyone ever seen this before?

Here are the two hold back males. I had others but these were the last two picks I selected after letting them flower. I also just noticed one of the males kinda has the same node stretch growth mutation but not as bad as the female.

Male with same stretch mutation

Male without

Both males together

I just checked the other plants the same size different strains, same pots and I don’t see any other stretch mutation other than those two Super Lemon Haze.

Example here is a Tonics Web same age and same size pot. This does not show the node mutation stretch.

And a Purple Skittlez x SLH male same size pot and age . Same does not show it either.

oh wow very interesting

i ssw some internode have some distsnce between leaf and shoot but wow not so visible like this

also that was just one node in whole plant but seems like your nodes of a whole plant do that?

really cool and interesting

possibly can be super excessive growth compare to plant development made that to happen

but i would bet on just genetic

love to see it
thank you for posting this haha

Yeah it’s very weird as it is all the nodes going up the plant. It’s a lot more noticeable on the hold back female SLH than the male. I have many more SLH f6 seedling plants in flowers outdoors I’ll have to check them too and see if they show the same node mutation. I’ll update here tomorrow on the other females outside.

Just to update on this so it looks like it’s 100% genetics of the Ethos SLH and I just never noticed it before. Here are a few pics from the outdoor SLH F6 females.
