All were good stinky smokes, although none were RKS from my youth.
UFS - was the heavy hitter with a dank rotten meat aroma and sweet dense smoke that expands in the lungs. This is closest to what we had as reg skunk from the MC’s. Get a bit of the RKS “burning Tire” about half way through and a black oily roach.
ASS - has a nice Sharp Cheese taste and a smooth draw, heavy around the head. Slow burning get wasted and watch a movie weed.
NHS - is said to throw RKS Phenos often, no such luck, but it may hide in there as this is more a sweet island skunk very Hawaii Like smoke. I have a large vial to hunt through only dropped 6 and I had 3 big males.
I’m loving the shop light LED’s for vegging now I have my distance dialed in at around 14” from source. Penetration is much better than t8 and HPS.
I really like the close node spacing they get with a bit of fish shit foliar spray daily. The 2’ bushes are ready to transfer to the jungle as soon as space becomes available .
I flipped the big veg room to Flower with 8 sickly plants but recovering from over crowding and a fungus. They are showing pistils after a week. I have two 3000 lumen LED shop lights that I had to dial back in Veg as they were bleaching all the leafs.
With 2’bushes going in, In 3 gallon pots should give me 4-6’ plants after stretch and be perfect for terracing in the Jungle.
New training program is producing short internode spacing with vigorous fan leaf growth during a two to three week veg cycle.
I am using 2 standard shop LED lights $100 each 16” from canopy. Daily foliar spray with water. Add fish shit to foliar and nutes.
As soon as plants start taking full nutes I do some pinch and twist training on the main stalk and upward to each node until the 7th which gets first top.
Remove lowest two nodes (leaving 5 sets) leave the fan leafs on the stalk for photosynthesis to push power to top through the thick hollow stalk that’s been trained to twice normal size.
Now days I top every other node on each split, then start folding the most apical branches down to allow the lowestbud sights to reach the canopy. Normally will get 12-18 main colas with 1.5 stretch. Once in a while on tough viney plants I will FIM after the first few toppings creating a popcorn bush. Mainly just creating a SOG without the screens. This way I can keep the perpetual running with above average yields on most strains that go through the jungle.

This is the Brutal Paw BX pheno that I’m leaning towards for the second round of selection for the Monkey Paw. Strong pistil production , good structure, starting trichs early.
Various Phenos are earthy, coffee, cocoa, sour milk back end (the more Indicas). Some are yellow fruit, banana, mango, lemon early and smooth out later to a more floral ,herbal taste. And more of a Sativa buz that you feel the THC rush in the cells of your lungs. The warm rush will quickly rise and fill the space behind your eyes and filling your head while your lips curl in a permasmile for a few hours.
The one thing I do notice Is that the dense pure white smoke from a joint or exhale does not Rise, it will float and slowly dissipate. Hanging there with a cigar like floral fragrance hanging in the room
Been running my first full LED grow. The equipment is minimal as in all I try to do (KISS). So far the buds are developing nice and most of the ailments are gone.
All plants in the LED grow, suffered leaf necrosis, and PM, so they were a few steps behind the flip of the 2000 watt HPS room. 2 main problems in LED were too close and too powerful of a light (yellowing). They seem happy now and are all getting ramped up on P&K.

All plants are 60 day nominal flower times. Actually doing a selection on a fast Sativa I found that was narcotic strong.
Last but by no means least… the last two MTF seeds from 74’ ACC reproduction, these were a bitch, old pale seed but they are starting to perk up and are at least consistent
The Monkey Paw selection is stacking rock hard pine cones under all those long hairs still sprouting. Have the smaller one in cure and I’m getting a grapefruit flavor with a sweet honey finish. Densest bud I have ever seen, cured and wet it has very minimal sponge. The best plant has at least another month.
Looking good brother, can’t wait for this run I got going to finish, get yours popped and sexed , I’m thinking I’m gonna run them in hydroponics and use my trough system , love the growth rate. Not sure if I tagged ya in the latest journal, I’ll do it again if not. Lots of pics. Lol
