SO many “names” lol but to me its just the level of extraction…
Flower > Kief / Hash > Rosin > Oils > Distillates
Each level removing more and more impurities / undesirables from the prior level. The current “name of the day”? bah as long as we’re both on the same page, you can call it a temple ball, its still hash to me 
I do understand though the process also is included in the name, A temple ball is different from dry ice or bubble ice hash for sure.
Its funny, but RSO oil to me was always Green Dragon extract from way back when you would get a copy of the Anarchists Cookbook in text format. Like mid 90s LOL… And back then the AC said to soak your trim for weeks, the darker the everclear was the more extracted. WEEKS! ROFL. So much extra shit extracted that wasnt needed! But that oil was black, and man it hit like a freight train! lol
