There is very little difference between simple and complex carbs, about 20 minutes longer for complex to get into the bloodstream, after that tgere is no difference and why I avoid all carbs as much as possible.

If you want a slower release of glucose, then eat lots of fats with them, it slows insulin production and glucose release.

If your cleaning out your body and want to flush your liver put a whole lemon in a blender with a cup of almond milk and a cup of frozen bluberries, pinch of cayenne pepper, and make a smoothie, if it’s to sour still, add some honey.

It also raises testosterone by reducing estrogen levels from the oils and terpenes in the lemon pith and rind.

Are the other ingredients or blending really necessary? Could one just eat a whole lemon like a savage for the same effect?

Have stayed off here and back on 2 a days 3 days an 1 a day for 2 but that’s 8 2 hrs work outs aweek lol

99 % turkey with lemon pepper only
Chicken breast with squeezed lemon :lemon: an pepper
Then there sweet potatoes in there with no season on the potatoes,
5 egg whites every breakfast with half cup oatmeal every morning only honey peanut butter an half banana :banana:.
It’s a lifestyle,
But it’s worth it

Trying to get back in fighting/skiing shape myself…shredded meniscus (I think) in left knee has taken me off track. Or should I say I have a chance to concentrate on upper body and abs for a few months!

If you can handle non blended lemon peel and pith and no berries to sweeten it up, it will have the same effect on your liver and the hormones your liver produces. It’s a pretty awful thing to eat on its own though lol.

If you have any health issues like prostate problems caused by out of balance estrogen to testosterone it’s a good way to correct it naturally, without drugs.

The almond milk can be sustituted for water but almond milk is chock full of vits and minerals and the cayenne pepper is a liver anti inflamatory, and enzyme booster.

Do you like fresh baked bread? Nothing goes better with a hot soup.

But that’s sensible and bland. My family instead insists on French toast.

I took a walk on the wild side. French toast doesn’t dip in soup too well on account of the egg coating, but one bite and you’re north of the border! I’m talking about flavour country.
