What do you do for a living?

Super cool! I absolutely love the Pixies.

Interesting to see the range of people here - I have always played in bands and engineered demo recording for friends and stuff… like restoring old studio gear (consoles, tape machines etc…)

My actual real job is In a commercial HVAC manufacturers rep firm - so about as opposite as you could get!

Currently retail in a CBD shop but, almost done with my Marketing bachelor’s degree. I really want to work in the cannabis industry or use my studies to go into a business for myself. Marketing a business that isn’t federally legal yet seems to be a little scary.

Same here, we must be around the same age. im 35, I’ve been working in the oil and energy sector for the past 4 years, and im desperately looking to get out of it.

60 I started late

I worked for Halliburton in Houma LA back in 1982 for 18 month Oilfield trash

but moved to Gary Indiana to work for Inland Steel

Had 4600 pounds fall on me in 1997 and had to find a new career

so went to school for Networking and Break Fix

working in the patch is a hard gig but I made a ton of money

being 23 years old at the time have no idea where it all went

as we always say Fuck Fight or Trip Pipe

all the best

edit: should put the whole thing

Nothing I’d rather do than Fuck Fight or Trip Pipe

absolutely! fuck fight or trip pipe lol. ive worked as a rig hand and network engineer for the same company. i was enjoyed working in the field with the guys more than i did in the office with the freaks and geeks. Im in oklahoma and our economy is based on oil. What i despise about it, is the way they treat people. heartless, they lie to employees, and screw them over at termination.

Thnx a lot!

Oh nice guys!

I’m in IT. Currently managing a pc/mobile repair and electronic recycling shop, as well as being the CFO, System Admin and Network Admin. I also dabble in electronic soldering/solder repair for the business.

Outside of work and herb, my time tends to get taken up by Android Development. I’ve made roms and kernels for numerous phones over the years and still do to this day ^^

I hope no one will hate me but i left the corporate world of finance to grow things and restore motorcycles. I am reformed from my time in finance and now consider myself a real human being.

And please don’t @ me but I hate Harleys.
