Well that’s kinda what happens with fermentation.
Lesson learned
You need a carboy. Do a big ol batch!
I have a one gallon carboy, and the one gallon wide mouth. I’m gonna get another batch started. There’s a brewery that sells all kinds of homebrew stuff. I’ll be visiting them on Saturday
Oh yeah, the homebrew store is fun!
I’ve got several five gallon carboy’s. And one twelve gallon. Yeah, idk what I was thinking there, lol.
I need more yeast, yeast nutrients, and a couple other things. Hopefully they’re not too expensive
The next batch I’m gonna do just water, honey and yeast/nutrients. No fruit or anything. Just to see the difference.
Ask your brew store guy about the best yeast for mead. Some yeasts work better for different types of brews. I will always use two different types for darker and lighter beers. They will also react differently depending on whether you do late or early hop additions(yeah, I know that this doesn’t apply to you atm).
Yeah, I know there’s like three different kinds of wine yeast from lalvin. I have a ton of questions to ask them, don’t worry
I was shocked to find out about all the different brewing yeasts myself. I have yet to experiment with 90% of em.
All I remember from home brewing was save your orange juice cups, pour them into an empty 2 liter, add a donut stick, burp until there’s no more pressure build up, drink immediately.
Is this a jail brew?
Haha. Tell me you’ve done time without saying you’ve done time.
Hwhat in da hail?!?!
Im making rice krispie treats, I swapped 1/3 tbsp of butter with bacon grease. We’re gonna try it in steps lol
Holy moly. I’m interested to see how that turns out.
Interesting. Do they taste like bacon?
And, was the grease infused?
They taste like if bacon sweated onto them lol. They turned out pretty good, a little bacon taste, but not too much
It’s probably 40 ish mg in the whole pan
Keep yolking around!
That’s pretty dang cool
