What's HomegrownVABudz up too?

It brings me great pleasure to take ideas and plans out of my head and turn it into a physical product. Been working on this all week. @Gonzo you asked and you shall receive lol.

Are those salves (ointments)?

I haven’t been in any dispensaries, so I’m only guessing that they sell salves with THC, and that yours are destined for the local dispensary. Is that right?

Dude, that’s awesome.

Two things I’ve learned to make smooth consistent salves are:

  1. Melt your ingredients in reverse order of their melting points i.e. beeswax > Shea butter > jojoba oil to prevent degradation of oils

  2. Wait until the mixture cools some and becomes more viscous and opaque before pouring. This prevents cracking, “shrinkage” in the container, and helps ensure a smooth, not grainy texture.

I’ve only made cannabis ones once for my mom’s knees and elbows mostly cbd. I asked her if it helped and she said, no, but her elbows are really smooth

I think it turned out ok. I have plans to add more beeswax to stiffen it up a little more, but a couple people told me they liked it how it is. I gave out some samples earlier this evening. Hopefully the feedback is good.

That’s basically what I told everyone. Worst case you hydrate your skin a little bit and smell good :rofl:
