I’m considering the same thing. I figure 4sq ft per octo. I’m going to try 4 in the 4x4 and 1, maybe 2 in the 3x3. I’ve got the regular 6gal octos.

I was thinking maybe 2- 6 gallons in a 3x3. That way when I set up my 4x4 next to my 3x3. I can use the 3x3 as a veg tent no octo’s and only have to buy 2 more 6 gallon Octo’s for the 4x4.

I will be going to the octos also, not being tied to the grow everyday is a big plus for me, and not have to check ph is a done deal

To be fair, that was the ambient air temp sensor under the hood. It cooled down to a more reasonable temperature after driving for a bit, still over 100°F though.

With some ph buffering and chelation, the ph of your hydro system should remain fairly stable. Usually performed with things like DTP or EDTA.
