great idea - I am using a small trash can with a towel hanging off a 'clothesline = with it hanging down in the can to wick water for my flower tent - my humidifier couldn’t wait for my lazy ass to fill it…
Nice color in them… they seem OK on nutes… maybe just a tad light but I think that’s a good thing. Better to err on the side of caution with fertilizer as it’s easier to add it to the soil than it is to get it back out again. Give em a couple days and you will know more.
Agreed they need a good dose of litfa
Lol… I’m so old I had to look that one up
I only recently learned it on this site so don’t feel bad haha
Did you get your complentary bottle of it too?
Me too. It’s a great product.
Afghan 1
One on my preffered ones of the bunch, tight node spacing, healthy leafs, smells slightly sweet.
Afghan 2
Large leafs, wrinkled texture to leafs, slower at branch development, aroma is developing nicely and is stronger than the first
Afghan 3
Wrinkles leafs, some crinkled, more stretching than previous plants mentioned, very low smell of anything
Afghan 4
1 of the 2 smallest, but has less node spacing than some of the bigger ones, smells like wet lawn, wrinkly leafs again, but less wrinkly than 2 and 3 but more than 1
Afghan 5
I believe this is the same pheno as afghan 1 very similar looks but this one is growing at an excelled rate, large leafs great node spacing, slight skunky smell but very faint
Afghan 6
I believe this is same pheno as plant 4 as they look quite similar. Squat plant, wider growth than number 4, slightly better node spacing, same smell
Aghan 7
I believe this is same pheno as number 2 same crinkly leafs, the leafs fold them selfs over the same as well and similar smell as afghan 1
Will be up potting to 2 gallons soon
Edit. Just upotted. #3 if by far the stinkiest, it smelled so strong upon changing pots. 10 times more than any of the others.
I agree, #1 is my favorite too , great job so far …
All outta likes
But yeah # 1 and # 5 look the best
Smell is often indicative of potency. I once had some super crystal (back around 2000) and just the clones smelled so strong you could smell them before you got in the front door. Was nice potency… about a 6 hour high for a daily smoker from one bowl. Damn I wish I knew where to get some of those again!
I plan on cloning the girls and saving one after I try them all to plant again for a bud run. I couldn’t believe how much that smelled. Im really gentle transplanting and my nose doesn’t even work that good I couldn’t smell any other one unless I put my nose to them but that one all of a sudden just stank up my area with plant sweetness. Hopefully that ones a girl. If not I might still have to save a cutting either way.
Sounds like a female… if it’s a male though you have a great source of pollen IMO… you can smoke the male leaf to test for potency if it comes to it. Keep an eye on that one
Outta likes too. Yeah, agreed, #1 and #5 are looking great and I agree, smell and potency often go hand-in-hand. Sounds like you might have yourself a keeper there, male or female. Probably a girl.
@Diatomacious, sounds like a pretty epic strain. Maybe its still around OG land.
Don’t tease me I’ll pay $1000 for 10 seed lol.
Just figured out how to like stuff on this site… doh
Those plants look great man. Excellent job so far.
Plants taking off, going to uppot one last time to 3 gallons.
Any suggestions how big I should let them get before I flip. Don’t want to flip to early and not get enough seeds.
I’ve always heard about a foot a gallon so 1.5-2 feet at flip? To prevent rootbound.
It depends on the height of your tent. Being indicas they won’t stretch a lot. As it is convenient to leave some time for them to recover from transplant shock before flipping, I would wait some days after done and then reconsider it …
