Lol ya just the 1240W works out to 42.39watts per foot 6.5X4.5 =29.25ft

I just threw up the SD last night with lights off so I don’t really know lol the SD is at probably 40%.
The GeekBeast was at 80% high up and the Hlg 350R was around 60% high up just making due with what I had for the large area.the high points of the tent before the SD were 700ish PPfd.
I turned down the GeekBeast and 350r hoping they would be good until I got to them today
Probably right now, I’m gonna go mess with my apogee and get everything even at 900-1000ppfd for now

Edit- I forgot to mention I’m only setting it so high because I’m gonna pot the last plant and flip to flower tonight.
Usually I’d like to wait 2 weeks after potting to flip but I took forever getting them all upsized and I’m losing tent space fast

18 inches is about as close as I dare to go with my home made Bridgelux lights as well. Normally they are around 20-22 above canopy so I don’t have to worry about watching for burn.

Ok

At 15 inches i was at 80 but my leave were bleaching
Thanks Bro. My 3rd run with led an no co2

@ShiskaberrySavior I got this GeekBeast 2400 light for free to do a journal on another site.
I honestly really like it has a very customizable spectrum and pretty decent prices

@Osogreen i have a PPfd metre so I can bring them as close as I want I generally aim for minimum 1000ppfd in flower and run the fixtures low watt
If you don’t have a metre and are going full tilt minimum 18”+ is probably a safe spot to be.

When I switched from 400watt metal halide and 144watts of Sunblaster leds to the scorpion Diablo I hung it at 27” at 40% power(hit the same lux and PPfd) but I light stressed the hell outta them had to cut it back

Thanks for the information.
I ran sealed rolms with no glass 1000 hps an co2 so this is kinda fun fine tuning these scorpions. My sealed room should be done after we pay all our taxes on our houses lol

I’ll crank it up to full and give you some PPfd readings at 18” and hopefully you can use that data for something
One centre and a couple readings on the outside edges ,I’ll update this post in 10 mins Gotta finish my vape

Dead centre where there is no boards at 18” full power 1000-1040ppfd
As low as 690 front right corner

800ppfd centre front
Right side centre between the two boards 830

I now feel if your just running a SD without out other fixtures you can push closer than 18”

Awsome much appreciated
I’m still building up my equiptment a sec time lol.

So I woke them up to do this so I didn’t take too many readings basically it’s a even 1000 everywhere at 18” dropping off to the lowest 720 on a corner but more like 800 on the edges.

At 12” it’s averaging 1100-1350 everywhere
Any closer and you better be careful

I got 159 good seeds from that sour diesel crossed with Doug Dawson’s PPP
Just 3 small branches so the cheese should put out twice as many or more!

Some nice healthy beans right there!

The first time Doug sent the PPP pollen, I used it and didn’t get a single bean :sleepy: not sure what happened, maybe somehow it got cooked in transit.

He did send me another bag recently, so I went all out and unleashed the whole thing on an entire plant 2 days ago. No stigma went untouched, lol. I hit every single hair, and then some :joy:

What did you hit up with the PPP?
Doug was super generous and sent me two bags so I have another one to mess around with.
Might become a full on ‘chucker’ and hit up 3 branches on all 6 different girls inside

I used it on a Mango Thai - Meuang Lao I got from @Worcestershire_Farms. It has a really nice tropical fruit stem rub

That’s awesome, @DougDawson really is a great guy. I remember you winning a lot from his auction too, where he included pollen for all the winning bids. Nice to see all the beans being made with it. Hopefully this time it works for me, lol.

Wow, thanks guys. Glad to see all these PPP crosses coming out. Hope you have better luck this time @Oldtimerunderground. I only had 2 males in my PPP run, now I got 3 males of my Sour Bubble BX3 run, keep an eye out, will be collecting pollen for all very soon.

I had two other types of pollen that didn’t work but Doug’s PPP worked on everything I put it on. Have some left in the freezer, gonna try to use it again soon.

Nice, I have enough to give out to around a dozen folks while keeping a bunch for myself. It is an amazing feeling know something I produced is out there with folks making new creations. It really does make me very happy.

Thanks Doug  I just took a quick peek in the tent and it looks like it worked this time :smirk:

This time it hit good. Now I wish I would’ve put some away in the deep freeze too  lol.

I agree. It’s also nice when you give or receive seeds and pollen, more seeds are made, and they find their way back home. I wonder what kinda seeds will find their way back to me soon. I might have to send out some feminized pollen on my next reversal and see what kind of cool crosses the OG community comes up with. Some fine genetics around here, should be interesting.

Say the word brother, I will send you more whenever you want. You are an amazing member of the OG community and have been more than generous with me. My stash is your stash brother
